Nikon Coolpix S2500

CNET

  • Summary: The Nikon Coolpix S2500 costs only £90, so you can't expect perfection. But this compact camera is small, easy to use, and offers pretty impressive performance and features for the price.
  • Cons: Some overcooked tones; sub-par LCD screen.

  • Summary: The market for £100 cameras has really improved in quality over recent years. Where once you'd struggle to purchase anything respectable around that price, there are now a host of models vying for pole position. While the Nikon COOLPIX S2500 does have a few issue, namely average image quality, not the best LCD screen and limited shooting modes, it's still a great little compact camera and well worth a look.

  • Conclusion: A good-looking camera that’s refreshingly slim, light and good value for money. It’s just let down by the LCD panel that makes the camera almost unusable outdoors
