Summary: I used an old Fuji 4.1 megapixel Finepix for 5 years and grew pretty comfortable with it. When it finally pooped out on me, I wasn't sure what to get to take it's place. I started looking around for something that wasn't too pricey, was simple and fun to use and maybe even had a cute color to it. I wanted to be able to take pictures of kids who move around a lot, but it didn't have to be the most fancy camera in the world.
Summary: this camera was purchased under a budget i had myself stay on recently. i loved how small this camera is. its very conveniant for me to bring everywhere. i myself dont like bringing purses for some odd reason so i leave it in my pocket and it fits perfectly. the results of the pictures were okay but for the price i purchased it with...isnt too bad. try it out if you were looking for a low budget and cute looking camera.
Summary: We have had this camera for only 6 months but love it! We have had no trouble with it until I dropped in on the hardwood floor today. Being my fault, I can't complain about it. Since the one we have is now getting repaired, I went ahead and ordered another one because we need it for vacation. It is super easy to use and we get 8X10 pictures made all the time and they look great! You can print up to 16X20 and still get a good quality.
Summary: I own Nikon DSLR and yes S230 camera won't produce as nice of a quality pics as my DSLR, but my DSLR won't fit in my pocket and much more expensive. So I got this camera to take quick pics when I go out and when I don't want to take my expensive camera since I am paranoid about damaging it. Also S230 has ability to take videos up to 30 min. Great thing in my opinion.
Summary: This is a great little camera with a whole host of presets that allow you to take pictures in almost any setting, at the touch of the screen. Picture quality is great, 3x zoom is better than any the previous digital cameras i've owned and, given its diversity, it's good value for money. The touchscreen was one of the main reasons I bought this particular camera and although it did seem gimmicky at first, I soon found it a joy to operate.
Summary: This is a great camera with excellent picture quality, especially for the price. The camera itself has several different options for shooting and it is somewhat simple. It is very sleek and the portability is great! It weighs next to nothing and fits pretty much anywhere you would carry a phone. The only con to this product is the touch screen. I am so used to my iPhone touchscreen being glass, this one feels like plastic.
Summary: I bought this camera as a brainless alternative to my full-featured high end DSLR. Guess which one comes with me everywhere? It's so easy to shoot with this little pocket camera, and so guiltless. Easy to use, small and convenient. I have no issues with the image quality. Then again, I know what the high end looks like, so maybe my expectations are more reasonable. You gets what you pays for - and I like it a lot.
Summary: I purchased this camera for my daughter to replace a beat up 5MP pocket camera (Samsung) that used batteries up like no tomorrow. It was a competent little camera but it was time for an upgrade for her. At 16 years old it was time for her to have an update for taking snapshots of family and friends and to give her the ability to document our many family vacations.
