Summary: Well, I don't know i never got to USE the product!!!! I bought it in may, but didn't have a memory card yet, so about 2 months later i got one (im on a tight budget bc im a single mom) and i turn on the camera and it DOESN'T WORK!!!! it just keeps saying "lens error" i contact the seller asking for an exchange of some sort and all they say is sorry, its past the 90 days?! what the heck??? how is that fair at all?!
Summary: I have had many Nikon camearas over the years and until about 5 years ago, they were stellar. Now they are junk. Ive had three small cameras by Nikon and all do the same thing, stop focusing all of a sudden. When they won't focus, they are essentially junk for the trash can. I checked this problem out on the internet and it seems to be a major problem with Nikon small cameras. So sad to see this happen to what used to be a quality brand.
Summary: I bought this camera for my mom and it's the worst camera I've ever used. It feels very cheap, like if you drop it on the carpet, it will break into many pieces. The picture quality is the worst! My cell phone takes better pictures. ALL PICTURES taken are grainy and just plain bad. I've checked to make sure all the settings were correct and the megapixel setting is on it's highest.
Summary: This camera has been nothing but trouble. The main problem is that it keeps giving a "lens error" which requires that the camera be sent in for repair. The first lens error occurred within 6 months of purchase. We sent it in for repair, and was covered by the one-year warranty. About 9 months later, the lens error occurred again.
Summary: And by last resort, I mean if your backup camera is broken, and you don't have your cellphone with you, this piece of garbage will do. 6 out of 119 pictures I took were high quality, and presentable. The other 113 went into the trash. The macro settings are terrible; You will always need keep it in full force zoom. Micro settings are fine, but you can't be any further than 3 feet away from the subject. Don't bother turning the flash off.
Summary: I bought this camera from a Staples near me a little over a year ago. I have an SLR and was looking for something compact and light to take on vacation. From day 1 it's never worked right. It refuses to take still pictures in bright light, even though it'll shoot video in the same light conditions. Almost everything comes out blurry. I'm not a beginner camera user, but for point and shoot relaibility, I'm horribly disappointed in Nikon.
