Nikon COOLPIX S210 is an 8.1 Megapixel camera which can produce stunning prints as large as 16 x 20 inches. This camera is only 0.7 inches wide. Nikon COOLPIX S210 comes with a 3x Optical Zoom-NIKKOR (38-114mm) Lens. Nikkor optics provide exceptional pictures and this lens produces precision camera optics that deliver superb color and razor-sharp results. Nikon’s EXPEED image processor ensures high-quality pictures with stunning color and sharpness. The EXPEED image processor is custom-tuned for COOLPIX and applied optimized technologies. The Nikon COOLPIX S210 is available in Plum, Graphite Black, Cool Blue, and Brushed Bronze. The Electronic VR Image Stabilization compensates for camera shake and helps to prevent blur there by producing clearer, sharper results in lower lighting or unsteady conditions.

The Nikon COOLPIX S210 is equipped with a bright 2.5-inch High Resolution LCD. This LCD screen also has a high-contrast and anti-reflection coating on the screen to assist users in clear viewing, even in direct sunlight. With Auto adjusts up to ISO 2000 users can take high quality pictures even in lower light conditions.

Nikon COOLPIX S210 also features In-Camera Red-Eye Fix™, Face Priority AF and D-Lighting technologies. In-Camera Red-Eye Fix technology automatically looks for and fixes any or all instances of red-eye. The Face Priority AF technology is Nikon’s face-finding technology which finds and focuses on up to 12 faces in a group portrait. The D-Lighting technology rescues photos that are too dark for printing by enhancing the underexposed areas of the picture. The Nikon COOLPIX S210 provides users with 15 Scene Modes including Portrait, Landscape, Sports, Night Portrait, Party/Indoor, Beach/Snow, Sunset, Dusk/Dawn, Night Landscape, Close Up, Panorama Assist, Museum, Fireworks Show, Copy and Back Light modes.

  1. Nikon Coolpix S210 Review

    17 April 2008

While it's the low price leader of the new Nikon S series offerings, the S210 also promised "high performance" and "ease of operation." It delivers a taste of the former and loads of the latter. The camera makes no pretense of offering manual controls, yet allows a fair number of user inputs in auto mode to set image parameters such as ISO, color, white balance, exposure compensation, and AF area. The layout of the body is simple and direct, and when needed, internal... Read more

I think that this camera is unbelievable and the quality, features and photos ROCK! Not only do you get an awsome camera that virtually anyone can operate, it takes great pictures, the price/value can not be beaten and its simple to use. Nikon has always had a great reputation and this camera definitely lives up to it. For a busy mom, the size and ease of operating the camera lets you get it all captured without missing a thing :) Read more

Remember, this camera like almost all cameras won't do everything for you. It can only perform as good as the environment you put it in. If you make sure the lighting is sufficient and such, it will take awesome pictures. Read more

Sadly, our recommendation is to -- AVOID THIS CAMERA -- at all costs. ** Please see other similar reviews below before purchasing. ** LENS ERROR problems ABOUND & render CAMERA UNUSABLE. I so wanted to leave a good review for this camera. Our family has owned 3 across the last couple of years. The first 2 cameras of this make/model lasted 14 months, and 8 months, respectively. Our 3rd died a few months ago after 14 months of use, and prompted me to at last write a... Read more or see product
