Summary: Ok this is the 3rd one of these I have bought for my wife now! Very clear pictures for a cheap camera like this with a remote. First one my wife dropped in water and didnt get the warranty on it. 2nd one my son dropped peanut butter on the lens and I havent been home long enough to clean it.
Different (from the other two in this series) each are very unique

Summary: Nikon created 3 very different projector cameras in this Series. The initial launch was the S1000pj which is impressive. Built (most solid) However, It didn't offer the larger screen which are 3 inch. But Nikon's first launch is well throught out, nicely designed, rugid and a winner. The Second model, S1100pj had many changes/improvements from the first. And, the final projection camera (S1200pj)...is stellar.
Summary: My experience of this Nikon was been a disaster of epic proportions.. I purchased the camera was to utilize the projection feature via usb from pc photos/clip art but FAIL!!! On a perfectly smooth flat white surface the image is fuzzy, dark, colour and shape of the projected image is highly distorted, and forget the 'focus', there is no focusing the photos to be usable.
Summary: great quality pictures and the best: the image proyected into my wall! not great image like a professional proyector but works perfectly when traveling to show my videos and pictures to my family.
Summary: Pros: many exposure preset options. More advanced than basic point and shoot camera. Relatively small and portable. The projector is easy to use. After learning to navigate through the options it becomes relatively easy to use. Cons:a new system of selecting features takes some tIme. Lumens (brightness) for projector is a little weak but acceptable for something so small.
Summary: The novelty of the built-in projector is what attracted me to this camera. As a woodcarver, it is useful to have some way to project an image for tracing onto a block of wood, and I expected to use this camera for that purpose. I also anticipated selling my Panasonic Lumix 6MP camera and Aiptek Action HD GVS camcorder on eBay, because I figured that I wouldn't need them anymore if I had the Coolpix, with its triple threat of camera, camcorder and projector. Wrong!
Summary: It's very cool , we enjoy it alot . Taking movies of the kidswith it ,then playing in on the ceiling later that night , when me and the wife is laying in bed is awesome . The size seems a little to small , I thinks that is what they was going for , yet for me the small cameras are just too small I would like them to be another 1/4 bigger and that all be armor . Drop a small camera and it's gonna break . On the plus for its size it's got alot in it .
