Excerpt: I think this is world's first compact camera with a built-in projector, it offers an exciting way to share your photos or movie clips without the need to connect to a TV or computer. Extremely simple to operate, you only need to touch a button to project your favorites onto any flat surface: be it the wall for a presentation or the ceiling for a bedtime story.
Excerpt: I was looking for a camera around the time of black friday, and there were lots of deals for basic point-and-shoot camera's for the $70-$100 range, but I wasn't very keen on the idea of having the same camera as everybody else. It was around this time that I stumbled on a review for this product. Learning that this camera had a projector, I was very interested. I purchased the camera for about $150.
Summary: The camera was great however, I loaded up some pictures from a jumpdrive to the SD mem card and the camera is not reading it so the slideshow only shows four out of thirty pictures on the memory card. Any advice?? I have to do a presentation today.
Summary: The Nikon S1000pj is a great compact camera that provides many great features. One feature, however, leaves mush to be desired. The projection system on the camera provides just decent viewing, but only when the room is completely dark.
Summary: Nikon cameras do take nice pictures, good lenses. The projector feature is not very good however. After a couple thousand shots, my camera started having a focusing problem. It is being repaired by Nikon. I'm not sure why the focusing started failing. Hopefully it is nothing serious.
