Summary: I got this camera for my birthday, and I love it.It is tiny, easy to carry, and easy to take with me. Now it may just be that I love my camera so much that I'm overusing it,but the paint is starting to come off slowly. I think my camera just got dropped, but the screen is already cracked. Also, there is dust under the screen that I can't get out.
Summary: This camera is definitely a novelty. It's technology is outdated and does not compare to newer camera's. However, that said, it's still a cute little camera. It's easy to set up and it works. I agree that the touch screen is used for a lot of the functions (annoyingly so). While it has it's pros and cons, I like it. It's not for everyone and if you're looking for quality photo's, this camera is not for you.
It is like carrying around a business card sized camera

Summary: This camera is really small. It is like carrying around a business card sized camera. The picture quality is decent too. The only thing I don't like is that I can't put memory cards into it. It has 8gb built in and that is all you get. That is still enough for thousands of photos and should be more than enough, especially if you don't take video. A great little camera!
Summary: I love my camera. I wanted something tiny like this. The only complaint I have is that there is no way to transfer images from this to my iPad. That means while traveling, I have to wait to go home to share images. If sharing is important to you, don't choose this one. Also, I do sometimes have trouble with clicking the screen for shots when I don't mean to. (You can turn that option off). It takes great photos and is very compact. I keep it in my purse always.
Summary: This age-old comparison finally works! The Coolpix SO1 is only a bit larger than those secret agent cameras we saw in 50's comic books but this one is real. Its lines are sleek and fluid and I am so happy to be done with the mysterious settings on my Canon 11HS which I have NEVER figured out. So far the only complaint is that the included photo editing software NX2 requires OS 10.7 or higher.
Nikon COOLPIX S01 10.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Zoom NIKKOR Glass Lens...

Summary: I trusted the Nikon brand name, and so far it's doing fine. Before even trying to use the camera, I read the basic instructions in the little guide book. And, as the days went by, I read more advanced ones. Thus, slowly but surely I am learning to master as much as possible the Nikon electronic tool that I've recently bought. A word of advice is these two extremes are wrong: 1. trying to use a product without reading any of the instructions that come with it; 2.
Summary: Sometimes I think Nikon makes some things just to show they can. This is one of them. OK, it'll never replace a real camera, but the best camera is the one in your hand, and this one makes that easy. It just showed up, I spent the last several hours fiddling with it, and i'm actually pretty happy. It is really tiny; let's get that out of the way first. You can't believe how small.
Excerpt: I carry this camera around with me everywhere.Great color and sharpness.I was pleasantly surprised on the video performance. The only thing that I would have liked to see was a standard micro usb connection instead of the Nikonproprietary connection.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Large Clear LCD, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time, Small / Compact
