Summary: I bought this camera as a gift for my wife. It has excellent picture quality and lots of options so you can get the perfect shot. If you prefer, there are lots of preset conditions: panaramic, indoor party, night landscape, portrait, and fireworks to name a few that allow you to quickly and easily set up for the most common conditions. Very sleek and comfortable - we love it.
This takes wonderful photographs and is easy to use.

Excerpt: I LOVE THIS CAMERA WITH MY WHOLE HEART!!!! It is a fantastic camera. I am not the best of photographers yet but, this is a great tool for me to work up the ladder. It is a sturdy camera,it's lens is great, the zoom is awesome, the pictures are wonderful, and you do not have to be a genius to use it. If you aren't into the whole manual focus thing then you don't have to put it on that setting.
Excerpt: We bought this camera 18 months ago and absolutely love it! We have 3 kids under 8 so we take lots of pictures of children and family. The zoom is great - allowing us to take close up pictures of the kids even when they are way back in the yard. I have gotten some great face shots when they didn't know I was taking pictures because I am able to be so far away. The one draw back on the camera is that the inside shots sometimes look kind of yellow on the viewer.
Excerpt: Having a small pocket size Pentax and a full size SLR, I needed something that took good pictures, had a great zoom, versatile, and could be snuck into concerts and shows. I waited for the P-90 having looked at the Canon IS and the Nikon P-80. The P90 was everything I was looking for.
Nikon Coolpix P90 is a great camera even for beginners!

Excerpt: We purchased this camera in February and have not regretted it! It takes wonderful pictures and even video which is great with our son's sports! It even tells you (on the screen) if someone blinks so that you can retake the picture! We are still learning how to use all of the features but for general pictures there is a setting so you don't mess it up. Also there is a panorama setting so that you can take a series of pictures to put together (haven't used it yet).
Excerpt: I love my Nikon Coolpix S90!!!! I have always wanted to try and take some really nice pictures but didnt want the agravation and expense that comes with the high dollar cameras. I did some research and found the Nikon Coolpix S90.The cost was a little more then i origanally wanted but once i saw all of the features of the S90 i had to have it. One of the best features is the adjustable screen, I have used it several times.
Summary: For me this camera is near perfect. It is an awesome stepping stone toward a DSLR and allows you to play with a plethora or features. I am a beginner (about 8-9 months) and had been wanting to upgrade my camera for a while but didnt want to take that big step toward an expensive DSLR. For me it was between the P90 or the P100.
Summary: This camera is the last generation before Nikon apparently changed their processing and image capture hardware. Since I couldn't find the P90 any more on the market, that's why I searched Ebay. I'm glad I did, the camera is great, does still shots like I want (the newer version is optimized for video capture) and has been a great replacement for my P80.
Summary: Due to non-delivery by the seller, I wound up with a Nikon P90 instead of the L110. As a long-time photographer, this camera is absolutely delightful. With very little self-training, it does about 99% of what I expect an SLR and a suitcase full of lenses to do. Everything but fish-eye wide-angle. The images of both still photos and videos are nothing short of a delight for their clarity, exposure and brightness in all sorts of bad lighting situations.
Excelent camera for a novice or back up for a pro.

Summary: Some times you look at something and don't see the real thing. That it what happened to me. I saw this item here and thought I was getting a DSLR camera. That is what it looks like. But I did not read the info as in depth as I should have. BUT(here's the good part) it didn't matter. A friend asked me to set up a "photo both" type of thing for his wedding and take the pictures.
