"Great Picture taker and Excellent Travel Camera!"
Pros: Battery life for me was decent Good clear pictures once you tweak the camera Large LCD Screen Low noise Great Travel Camera or backpacking for better shots Viewfinder :) Great laid out controls on camera.
Cons: Articulating screen, which the new P7800 has. Slow processing speeds compared to newer competition A tad better grip would have been nice 720P decent but now good cameras have 1080p/60fps Newer models zoom faster.
Summary: I bought this to have an extra battery for a roadtrip that we were taking. The fact that it was a Nikon branded battery and that the kit included a car charger is what pushed me to ordering this one specifically and it was a resonable price too. I feel that the price was worth it just for the charger and the battery the other extras we just icing. On our road trip we were car camping for 7 days and we used the car charger several times and it worked great.
Summary: Great take along camera. Fantastic quality. Very slow processing times, between the photos. When my DSLr's are at home, this camera comes along. Havine a viewfinder, along with a back screen is a major plus.
Summary: Excellent everyday carrier. Small enough to fit in a coat pocket, yet packed with DSLR features. This camera is not for the beginner only! Have had it for 2 months and love it. I also carry it in my gig bag as a backup to my D7000! Recommend firmware update immediately upon receiving, I have not had any problems as reported by early firmware owners did before the update.
This camera is an AWESOME jewell and a steal for under $200!!!

Summary: My first experience with this camera was through my cousin who's a professional photographer. He uses this camera exclusively when he's out traipsing around for those "Point and Shoot" moments. I was so impressed with this camera, I've bought 1 for my wife and 1 for me. This camera is insanely easy to use, takes perhaps arguably the best quality JPEG photos for it's intended use, and has MANY and I do mean MANY little extras guaranteed to delight once you dig into the...
Summary: The most reassuring thing about this kit is that the battery is a genuine Nikon EN-EL14, not a generic. As a recent purchaser of a Nikon P7100, I wanted to have a spare battery in my camera case, as I am now at the mercy of proprietary battery packs. Since the going price for an EN-EL14 is about $40, does this kit offer a good value at $54.95? Yes, it does. The kit also includes a charger on which "EN-EL14" is stamped into the plastic.
Summary: Normally I shoot with a Nikon DSLR camera and an 18 -200mm zoom. Problem is, its heavy! So I got this little camera to take with me on long hikes, and when I travel and don't have enough room to take a lot of camera gear. What I like about it is it has all the adjustments I use on my DSLR, it has a view finder, a reasonable range of zoom, you can take macro closeups, you can use all Nikon accessories like the wireless remote and flash, and it is sooo light weight.
Summary: Hi I really enjoy my Nikon coolpix P7000, but recently i have a problem, I used it one day and try to turned it on the day after, and i cant because, the zoom doesnt work, the windows that protect the len still open, i dont know if are broken or its a different problem. I bought the last November and I want to know if I can apply the warranty, and what i have to do, to apply this.
