Very disappointed

SKYBREEZE, Nikon

  • Summary: Expected better image quality from this camera. Slow to focus, and very soft photos on automatic or manual. All photos are put into my Mac where they have to be sharpened. All photos come out a little underexposed. When zoomed all the way out with my P600, and with my pocket coolpix with far less zoom capability, there is virtually no difference. Got taken on this one. Would definitely NOT recommend.

At Last--the Perfect Set of Features

First Nikon User, B&H Photo
  • Excerpt: I wanted a camera with fully-articulating monitor, HD video recording, compact size, and good telephoto capabilities. I got it all with the P600! My goal was to buy my last camera that could replace my gadget bag full of lenses, body, motor drive, program flash, video camera, etc. and the P600 fits the bill nicely. I've had it less than two weeks but I'm already impressed. I ordered the book detailing all the features, etc.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time, Small / Compact

Does everything I need it to do in a small, light package

FirstNikonForMe, Nikon
  • Summary: I've been camera shopping for quite some time, and waited for what I considered to be the best camera with the features I wanted--extended zoom, fully articulated monitor with simple monitor-to-viewfinder switching, one camera to replace a multi-lens SLR collection with flash, motor drive, etc. The HD video capabilites really sealed the deal, as well. I now have one camera that I can take to airshows and camping areas; one that I can keep with me everywhere I go.
