Good price. Viewfinder and hi-def, but not the perfect camera.
29 October 2013
Summary: I got it for the price, picture quality and the view finder. However the viewfinder is digital and you can't easily switch between it and the display. The controls are not very responsive and by today's standards it's a bit clunky. The pics are great, but I'm still looking for the perfect camera.
Excerpt: When I made the decision to buy this camera, I was in a rush. My one two year old broke my beloved Cannon the day before and I am not the kind of person that can go without a camera. Because this was an unexpected loss of my camera, I had a limited budget to shop with. I quickly found this Nikon P60 for around $100 on a daily deal from Office Depot.
Summary: I cannot get a good picture of my 9 month old, because once you use the flash to take one picture, it takes FOREVER for the flash to charge to take another picture. I push the button when she is smiling and the little blinking red light is all I see! The book says to wait a few seconds for it to charge and try again, so I keep tring and trying - it is awful! By the time it is ready, the moment has passed!
