Summary: great pictures been using for a few yrs now small enought to take to events better pics than smart phones with 8 MP however the only bad is it can use up batterys quickly i recomend getting rechargables for it.
Summary: There were any number of reasons why I purchased this camera but the main one was it has an optical viewfinder which many digital cameras do not use anymore. I needed this feature for taking pictures in very bright sunlight. Most all LCD displays aren't bright enough for this.
Summary: Someone trashed this camera in a previous review, very early after it appeared. The truth is, the P50 is a excellent camera, that is capable of taking really great pics. Closeups are crisp, scenics are spetacular, due in part from the 28mm wide angle lens!
Summary: Purchased N/P50 in early June 09 , took it to Niagara Falls , Ont . , and shot close to 400 pictures ! In rain , and mist conditions , with careful usage , I have some of the best Digital Pictures I have ever taken !
Summary: I needed a decent point and shoot with a wider angle lens for interior photos and purchased this one. It does a great job here with very good clarity. The wider angle allows more area in a photo where needed. I use this function mainly in real estate for interior room photos.
Summary: After reading lots of reviews for different cameras, I decided this one was the best for my needs and budget. Thanks to all of you who have written about your experiences, good and bad, with various cameras!
Summary: We bought this camera for my mom as she wanted something small to keep handy for taking pictures of my son. This camera has been wonderful! The picture quality has been better than we imagined, and all features of the camera are easy to use.
