Summary: Pro: small and takes pretty good picture. Con: Camera broke after nine months. We were in Hong Kong when the shutter could not open. The camera said "shutter error". We could not take any pictures.
Summary: I purchased this camera primary for the GPS function packaged in a pocket sized format for travel photos. Unfortunately, the GPS position acquisition time is so long, or not at all (even with valid A-GPS file loaded), that the feature is unusable for normal point and shoot use.
Excerpt: Prior to purchasing the Nikon Coolpix P330 I have been using a Canon S95. I have been happy with the Canon but wished to try something new. The cameras are somewhat similar physically so that traveling with either of them was easy. In the pocket with a cover made from a soft cloth.

Summary: If you are coming from a P310, keep it. The build quality, UI speed and capabilities are much better, and I can't emphasize that enough. As soon as held the P330 I instantly could tell the body was a different material, the shutter and aperture dials where cheaper and when you read reviews about how...
Pocket camera, capable of producing some truly outstanding images

Summary: This Nikon Coolpix P330 pocket camera is capable of producing some truly outstanding images, but may be too slow for some shooters. The good bits: Very small for a 1/1.7-inch sensor camera. Sharp lens. Impressive images through ISO 1600. Raw shooting support. Wide aperture when zoomed out.
Good features that are available on a DSLR, but....
