Summary: I bought this camera used because I didn't want to spend the retail price of $400 Canadian but I needed a camera with a tilting monitor for certain types of photography such as bar bands. The camera doesn't have the build quality that you might expect from Nikon-my P7000 is much better in that respect.
Summary: I chose to purchase a Nikon product, the quality of their lenses, I think are the best, my experience is not very big but I tested canon, olympus, sony, samsung and panasonic, my first digital camera was a Coolpix E3200, since there that taken with the Nikon, I purchased a P60 and a P100 and I'm really very happy with the image quality of both, especially the P100, the controls are very friendly, perfect zoom, flash superb, but what most impresses me is the color of...
Conclusion: I;vde had this camera for over a year now and very pleased with it. Its always used when I am not using my D700. The results are very good, sharp and well exposed. A asset is the tilting screen which comes in very handy at times. the video mode is an asset too being High definition and the high speed mode is a joy to use, well exposed, good sound etc.

Great point and shoot that gives room to learn and grow as a photographer.

Summary: I am impressed at the wide selection of settings. There are several reprogrammed settings, and still enough manual control to be creative. There is room to grow with this camera for the armature and serious hobbyist. I do recommend a tripod for the best long zoom shots or very close micros. I got a great deal with this camera. The LCD screen is terrific too just position it upwards or down for angled shots with less strain.
Summary: Cameta Camera Is Great! The customer service at their store was excellent and my refurbished camera works and looks brand new :) The Stabilization on the p100 is very good and the flash works great at night. Its size is perfect and the grip makes it very easy to hold and focus. The zoom is also incredible!
Summary: I just got my P100 and am thrilled with it so far. I haven't had a chance to sit down and read the book, but am using it daily on automatic and couldn't be happier with the quality of pictures! I have never owned a NIKON before and am a satified customer. I highly recommend it. The zoom is fantastic. it is lightweight so you don't have to worry about blurry pictures no matter the zoom.Very clear prints.
Summary: Well I got my Nikon P100 halfway through February this year, just before the new P500 was launched. I don't think you will miss much between the two except extra zoom. I am giving this review purely from a travellers point of view, having owned numerous film cameras, then a Nikon D70(my first DSLR), a Sony Alpa A300, etc. As a long distance traveller, I wanted to downsize my camera gear from body and lots of lenses.Wow!
Pros: Light, compact, Super zoom distance, superb low light exposure. Great value for money
Summary: I want to start by saying I am not very experienced with cameras...I have had a few point and shoot cameras, but I have never delved into all of the features that are offered on any of them. I bought this camera after reading many great reviews, and I LOVE IT. The picture quality is great, and it is very easy to use. It has lots of options that are easy to figure out, and I have been able to do a lot of things with it already, without even opening the users manual.
