Summary: Serious issues with battery, as reported by other users. Took a chance, not worth the aggravation. Tried it, found the malfunction with the battery chamber intolerable. Only able to take photos if putting pressure on the battery door. Not able to take more than 3 seconds of video.
Summary: A piece of junk. The camera arrived not working properly and wouldn't even turn on with fresh batteries in it. It's made out of cheap plastic and the supplier, Beach Camera, has not responded in a way the reflects a commitment to providing good customer service to their customers.
Camera is already broken and it wasn't that good to begin with

Summary: When you pay $200 for a dedicated camera, you'd expect better than this. While the build quality is good, the actual image quality is questionable. Photos often come out blurry and video recording is abysmal.
Summary: This camera is terrible! Goes through batteries like mad. The battery door is poorly designed and cracked and broke. Now it won't read any pic cards. My cheap Sony was a thousand times better. I thought I was buying a better product going with nikon. Nope, TERRIBLE!!!
Summary: Battery door would not latch on my mothers' camera approximately one month after purchase. Cannot locate a replacement. Contacted Nikon & was told I had to mail camera ( which would require driving 2 hrs). So, not a fan. Should be able to obtain a simple battery door.
Summary: It had lens problem.I didn't use it much either. After a while it stopped working because of lens for no reason. Then I send it for repair. They repaired it, and after awhile it started to have the same problem again!!total waste of MONEY!!!
Summary: Wish I had returned this camera when I had the chance, unfortunately I waited to go hiking to try it out and judge it and it is terrible. If I can sell it at our next yard sale for $30 I'll be glad to get rid of it
Pros: Lots of functions
Cons: Terrible pictures. 1) color is off, many pictures have a bad color shift, many are washed out 2) fuzzy, far too many pictures come out blurred and fuzzy 3) drains batteries, might work for an hour then needs new batteries, try to record motion and it indicates batteries are too low, even with new...
Summary: I got very blurry pictures. I did not think the 14x zoom was as good as it should be. It was to late for me to return to Amazon, so I contacted Nikon. I thought the camera was defective. After emailing back and forth with them, they basically told me it was my fault and I should read the manual.
Excerpt: Though Nikon touts this as a easy to use camera that eliminates the need to think too much and captures those photo moments, it;s not. I bought this for my wife who has had better cameras and she was disappointed. It just doesn't cut it.
