Summary: I dont know if it's the camera itself or if because I bought it used but, everytime I have taken a picture it takes forever to take the shot and it is very blurry. It does have wear and tear on it so maybe the previous owner dropped it or something. glad I only paid 1.54 for it and the 5.00 for shipping. It junk. Not even worth sending it back.
Summary: This camera takes decent pictures but it has a lot of problems. I have two small kids and it's hard to get a picture of them unless they are standing completely still. The shutter speed isn't fast enough, reload is too long after the flash goes off, don't even try to take a picture with the flash off it just comes out totally blurred.
Summary: Wow Nikon missed the mark with this one. The menu is just crazy - feels like a marketing guy on steroids put every conceivable ridiculous feature imaginable into this camera. The flash is worthless. Buy this camera only if; 1) your shots tend to be outdoor action shots where no flash is ever needed 2) you can get it for $50 or less
Summary: I bought one of these as a last minute birthday gift for my GF and even the sales girl told me that she wouldn't recommend it... should of listened to her. Ok so the cons. poor image quality lack of choosing ISO options or lighting options. Long time to auto focus. takes FOREVER (5-10 seconds) to do anything after using the flash. The screen goes black and you cant even look at the picture you just took for that long. Horrible close up shots.
Summary: I will never purchase this product again. While the photo quality and ease of use are wonderful, this is the 2nd Nikon Coolpix I have had in the last year to have the telescoping lens get stuck and break. The cost of repair is more than the camera itself, and since there is only a 90 day warranty, I am stuck yet again buying a new camera. NEVER AGAIN, NIKON!!
