Spend a little more and get a better Coolpix model.

  • Summary: I bought this camera for the price and because I owned a Coolpix before. The camera is relative easy to operate and ergos are ok. It doesn't take good pictures though. I just can't get good detail no matter what I do . It's not even close to the older model I used to have .

  • Summary: I bought this camera to record a once-in-a-lifetime 11 day backpacking trip at Philmont Scout Ranch with my son. I needed a AA-powered camera because there would be no recharging possible. The good news: AA Lithium's lasted forever no problem.

  • Summary: This is the third coolpix I have owned and every one of them has a broken battery door! I just looked that up on line and it is an extremely common problem with this camera. One guy called the engineer who designed it an idiot...wrong...he is a genius!

  • Summary: I this camera for when taking more pictures that will fit on my phone. It has barely been used in the months since I've bought it. I have taken great pictures with it and love the video option that is a simple button to press to start and stop. It is quick to alternate between pictures and video.

  • Summary: Be advised, this camera does not come with a rechargeable battery like the product description states. Discovering that the camera runs on AA batteries was the first disappointment.

  • Summary: This camera worked great on Christmas day, took good pictures and even a video. The next day, went to use it, it opened just fine and then gave a lens error. Could not retract lens or take pictures anymore. Hoping to take it back to Walmart for an exchange tomorrow.

  • Summary: Plastic housing Plastic controls which were very flemsy. I just felt like this would not last very long. I'm returning without ever using. Does not even remotely compare to prior Nikon and Sony point and shoot cameras I have owned. It was a hot deal on Black Friday. My fault for buying a $50 camera.
