Average product yet good for beginners or people who just want it to work.

Summary: As with many products, you get what you pay for. This camera is no exception. Its has its faults, one being that it is not very durable at all. I dropped it once from about waist height and the battery cover broke and it would no longer stay closed without a heap of duct tape. Now, over a month after the initial drop, I discovered that the screen was broken and was completely unusable. I have no clue how it happened either.
Summary: This camera can take some good pictures, but not all the time. I have missed some good photo opertunities. I took pictures of the fireworks on the 4th of July and they turned out good. I have trouble getting action pictures unless it is on the continuous picture mode. I am not sure if any other camera for the price is going to be any better. I think maybe I should have paid more and gotten a better camera. This is our 2nd cool pics camera.
Summary: I have been a Nikon fan ever since getting my first 35mm SLR (I still have it!) WAY back when....when I was 15 and trust me, that was back when wide lapels were in style!! Anyway, I have since bought a Coolpix several years ago which has performed flawlessly but wanted to get one of the newer, slimmer models and decided on this.
Summary: All Nikon cameras are good and this is not the exception, for the price was a good buy. The only thing is that the batteries compartment is a little fragile, you must to be careful when open it. The camera takes good pictures and videos; I love the face recognition feature that is nice! The transaction was crystal clear. They sent the item just was offered. I love my new Nikon camera. I'll recommend it.
Summary: I liked this camera it has good quality and a great price, but the battery slot is very sensitive so if you tend to open it a lot and are not careful it can break really easily my top broke so i just taped it but it still works fine. It is sensitive when it comes to dropping it , I just dropped it once and it got scratched, i recommend a case. Overall its a pretty good camera .
Summary: Nikon COOLPIX L24 14 MP Digital Camera with 3.6x NIKKOR Optical Zoom Lens and 3-Inch LCD (Black) I have this camera for about a week. I took 10 photos and after that the lens can not open .I changed batteries remove card but it seem like a mechanical defect.
Summary: This camera, is a good start for beginners in photography. It is easy to navigate the different settings. But can be slow between a taken picture and taking another picture. When doing very close up objects less than half a foot away it can take a long time to focus in on you subject. Over all it is an amateur's camera.
Summary: Outside photos are nice. However, we have taken very few acceptable indoor photos. Most are blurry/out of focus. We have tried various settings to no avail. Access to batteries and memory card is not user friendly. I know Nikon is considered to be a good camera but I wish I had done more research prior to purchase.
Summary: This is definately not a bad camera, but being familiar with Nikon higher end cameras makes it obvious that Nikon should do a much better job with this smaller cameras. The image quality is good depending on the light, unfortunately it does not do a very good job in situations where the surrounding light is not at its best. To me this was disapointing because my higher end Nikon cameras do an amazing job in such a situation.
