Summary: Hi all I have the cam for around two years now. As a point and shot cam i just use the preset templates for night or portrait or landscape....etc also as we all know the worst things in the point and shot cams are the flash & night photos. guess what this not a problem at all with this cam as it contains and incredible option to use ,its AUTOMODE + WB you can access this mode by 1- Clicking on the mode button (Green Cam Logo) 2- Select the last mode (Auto Mode) 3- Click...
Summary: I am a world traveler and an avid photographer, I like to have a camera on my person at all times. However, in many situations, I can not carry an SLR with me; this is where the Nikon L-22 comes in. I have, to date, bought four of these cameras. Every time they have broken, it was because of something I did that caused them to break. I continue to buy them because they are cheep, and pretty decent cameras for the price.
Summary: I'm still getting used to this product, I thought it would be easier to get used to considering I'm fairly savvy, but there's some weird little tricks - like it automatically defaults to a setting that takes bad photos inside - and I can't figure out a way around them. Otherwise, good photos, good battery life, easy to carry, and some fun functions.
Summary: I am no digital camera expert and have owned only two digital cameras in my entire life, , but I do try to do my research on anything that I purchase and after reading more reviews than I care to think about I decided to buy the Nikon Coolpix L22 12.0MP Digital Camera with 3.6x Optical Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD (Red-primary) as a Christmas gift for my wife. I will keep the other digital camera a 6 MP Sony Cybershot that has served us well as a back-up.
Summary: Bought this as a gift for my 16 year old. We have had an older Nikon Coolpix for years and been happy with it. The screen, resolution, flash and battery life are much better on this newer model. The navigation button aren't as user friendly, easier to hit by accident, harder to switch modes. The buttons feel very flimsy and plastic - I'm worried they will break before the actual camera mechanisms do! But overall very satified.
Summary: Purchased for teenage Grandaughter's birthday. I have purchased similar cameras for other of my grandchildren, and have found that even 'entry-level-plus' grade cameras from Nikon are a cut above the competition. I believe that photography is an acquired skill, and getting good quality photographs during the learning process avoids the discouragement that often accompanies cheap camera results.. Nikon doesn't install sub-par lenses.
