Nikon coolpix L22 digital camera is OK, my GE was BETTER
9 September 2012
Excerpt: When I broke my GE digital camera I brought this exact Nikon, same color and everything. It was a good camera that took good pics, but it was slow to capture photos and the automatic flash was not accurate.Oh ya, and the battery life was terrible. The batteries drained quick while camera was is use. It had a lot of different cool features including a video recorder which I loved, and the picture quality was pretty good.
Excerpt: For the amount of money you spend on this little camera, it's okay. Not great but not bad. My biggest complaint about this camera has to be the blurriness you get from even the slightest move you make while taking pictures. And forget trying to take action shots. If you want to take pictures at a sporting event, you can forget it. This is not the camera for you. The pictures aren't the best quality ever, but you get what you pay for.
Excerpt: Not the best out their! From expierence this the worst camera you can possibly puchase. It takes photos in with bad quality. I have seen better much much better. It is that expensive, but I think qualities worth it.I would have rather chosen another camera. Thsi lacks a variety of things. I wish it had come with a memory card or a rechargeable battery. The best feature on this camera would probably be the zoom feature.
Excerpt: I purchased this camera from Walmart, online, thinking that I was getting a great deal. After being persuaded by the mass media advertising, I wanted to give it a try. The color (deep red) was very aesthetically pleasing, but once I turned on the camera, it was another story. I also purchased a Koday Easy Share at the same time, to compare the cameras. The Nikon was not as clear as the Kodak. There was an orange gleam in the pictures, whereas, Kodak had a clear shot.
Excerpt: I am not in love with this camera, but do not dislike it enough to take back. I have had several cameras in the past from point and shoots to DSLRs. I 'm not in love with this quite as much as I thought I would be. I guess you get what you pay for. It takes pretty good close ups. And when it does what you want, it works well, but for a point and shoot, it is annoying, because there are sometimes when it doesn't shoot what you expect (even when it is set on auto) and...
Excerpt: This is a pretty sweet camera for the price you pay for it. It comes in awesome colors to choose. Easy to follow instructions on the use of the camera. The software is great and loads easily to your desktop or labtop computer. It is great because you can see the images right away on the screen which is pretty good size for the camera. Normally you get a really tiny screen and it is hard to see the images. One fault is Nikon does not give a carrying case with the camera.
The Nikon Coolpix L22 Digital camera is nice, but a little slow
9 September 2012
Excerpt: This is a very nice camera, but it is very slow when taking pictures. After you take a picture, it takes a while for the camera to be ready to take the next picture. The battery life lasts a very long time but the camera performs the best when it is fully or almost fully charged. This camera would be good for someone who is good at remembering to charge their camera often.
Excerpt: I'm a bit of a photography snob since I majored in photography in college. With that disclaimer, I think this camera works great for the amateur who just wants a point and shoot digital camera to take on vacation and document his/her grandchildren's milestones. It's easy to use, easy to master and easy to carry. It's a great on the go camera that fits in your pocket. I purchased one for my mother, who is somewhat tech savvy, and she didn't have any problems using it.
Excerpt: Nikon Coolpix L22 is a basic point & shoot camera for starters!! It has 12 MP with 3.6X Optical Zoom capacity. 3-inch LCD and also image stabilization system. I got this as a gift from my office colleagues and as I already own a couple of more sophisticated P&S cameras I passed it on as a gift to one of my friend's kid. Its a basic camera and will be a good gift if your budget is tight. One can easily get this for under $100 and should be a okay gift.
