Summary: I loved this camera! It takes awesome pictures and is easy to carry. My favorite thing is that it runs on double AA'S which means that while i may shoot pictures for the upwards of three consecutive hours, i do not run out of battery or have to worry about recharging.
Summary: In October, I dropped my Canon camera with the lens extended and of course, the lens jammed and my beloved Canon became worthless. Out of desperation for a new camera (Christmas being right around the corner and the fact that I am a blogger, I need a camera!
Summary: This is a good camera especially for the price however there are some annoying attributes.Only certain batteries work for a long period ( in my case Duracell) I don't know if this is a norm in digital cameras, other batteries run down very quickly, the quality of the pics are good most times but some...
Summary: I bought this camera just before Christmas because I dropped my HP camera and broke it. I wanted a basic camera under $100 but one that still rated really well with Consumer Reports. This one was rated OK with CR (it liked the S3000 better but more $$).
Summary: I purchased the Coolpix in order to have a good digital camera for my parents' 50th anniversary celebration. When we used it, many of the pictures looked fine on the camera's viewing screen, but were fuzzy and blurred when viewed later on the computer screen.
Pixel Problem on Display Screen 2 cameras in a Row
R. Veenstra, Amazon
4 September 2010
Summary: Purchased to replace a Kodak gone bad previously had a Casio. I like the Nikon and the fact that it takes AA vs specialty batteries. The issue with the first camera and the second one amazon shipped is that the nice 3" display screen has a problem with pixels not following in the picture taking...
Summary: i buy a new point-and-shoot camera about once a year. i have had 4 fuji's and 1 cannon. this was my first nikon. and i was not impressed. it takes too long to get the camera going...so if you want to hurry up to capture a shot, you can forget about it.
Summary: This camera is OK. It takes a pretty good picture when the flash works but that's very inconsistent. For $100 it's not bad. I have heard great things about Nikon and this hasn't held up to that hype. My $50 Kodak easy share was better then this camera. I would pass on this and get something else.
Summary: I needed a new camera that was a s easy to use as my old Canon. I read up on this camera and felt it was a user friendly, good quality camera. I'm finding that its very slow to make it available to snap another picture and a lot of time, the pictures have come out very fuzzy.
