Excerpt: Nikon is one of the best and most popular brands of analog and digital cameras. It`s quality-tested and it has been very reliable for many, many years. That`s why this year me and my wife got ourselves a gift–a Nikon Coolpix L21 digital camera.
Excerpt: Pros...not much Good STRONG flash, close up pictures all on ISO80 Flash recycles very fast, camera turns on fast. Build very well Macro very good Cons Usb cable connects to bottom of camera. Daytime pictures worse than flash pictures, reds come out pink..and lots of noise..out of focus..not sharp..more like a 5meg camera, very difficullt to get sharp focus. No tv cable..an optional..extra 3-way VR Image Stabilization System means nothing..does not work.
Summary: Like a lot of electronic stuff these days it's a complex beastie, but if you download the instruction manual .....much easier to read than the supplied booklet, you can work your way through and the end results are some very good pictures,
Summary: I bought this at a really good price as a pressie for my better half....she loves it and how easy it is to choose the right setting for the type of photographs to be taken, even night photography has produced some brilliant results. I might now treat myself to one (or the L22 10mp) but a different colour ( only so I don't get told off for picking hers up!
Summary: I wasn't expecting a top class camera, just a handy little point and shoot, that would do the thinking for me so I could catch those spontaneous moments and fun shots. However, this is the most user-unfriendly compact camera I've tried, and I am really disappointed with my purchase. On full auto mode it hardly ever chooses the right setting for the prevailing light conditions, and it takes aaages to focus.
Summary: Bought this as a replacement for a Kodak 330 4.5 megapixel digital camera. So far have found it to be much more superior. Pictures are clearer and the camera is very easy to use and it is easy to download photos to a PC.
