Summary: Bought this for 99 USD and it was a good buy for the most part. Only issue -- the AA battery slots are loose. Sometimes if the battery moves while you are travelling, the camera says it is out of charge which really isnt true. I guess that is the price you pay for 99 bucks.
Summary: I got this for my parents who don't have many electronics. It works fine for them when they just want a picture, but the lighting has to be just right or the quality is really poor. Indoor pictures are not good at all. Ideally this is an outdoor camera. Other than that it works great!
Great camera, if you only want great pictures outdoors...

Excerpt: First of all, I have to say, I love cameras! I bought this camera before going to a wrestling event last year and was disappointed when it took me quite a while, to figure out the appropriate setting to get some decent indoor pictures...even then, they turned out distorted and we had great seats to capture great shots. The auto mode, does not do it's job, like it should. I have rarely had problems, when taking pictures outdoors.
Excerpt: I bought this camera using some Amazon gift cards that I had racked up off of Swagbucks. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it. I've been in the market for a good camera for awhile and I thought this one looked pretty promising. After reading reviews, I thought it would be a very quick point and shoot type of camera. It's not. It takes awhile to take pictures and then to process them.
I couldn't get a good close up with the Nikon CoolPix L20 camera

Excerpt: We haven't had much luck with digital cameras, so this time Len decided on the Nikon Coolpix L20 digital camera. In England he always had Nikon brand. The Nikon Coolpix L20 digital camera was on sale, at Office Depot, for $99, which we knew to be a good price. The camera was similar to most digital cameras, and I found the menu button, and the shooting mode. The photographs came out great on auto, but I needed close up, for all the food photographs I take.
Excerpt: I bought this camera when our old one fizzled out. It was a time where cash was short so I knew I wasn't going to get one of the best but I'd hoped to get at least the best of that price range. After weeks of searching the Nikon L20 was in the paper - on sale. I jumped at the chance to have it. What luck, right? A camera out of my price range on sale for a price I'd be willing to pay? Yeah, it wasn't the greatest luck.
Summary: I bought this camera for my wife when her Olympus Stylus 300 had run it's life expectancy. May it rest in peace. The Nikon Coolpix is relatively easy to use.. has lots of decent features and the price was killer, but.. picture quality isn't as good as her late Olympus or the Canon Sureshot we also use. However.. It is worth the money. In hindsight I wish I'd spent $50-90 more and got another Canon Sureshot. The picture difference is noticeable.
