Summary: I should not be the one to answer this but then again...I am still learning the what, the when, the how as it applies to this camera. If you care to see what I did with it, look on ebay for Novineedsnewshoes.
Summary: The camera is much smaller than it looks in the photos online, the menus are harder to access and figure out, and it does NOT come with ANY photo editing software! What does come on CD with it is a photo viewer, a panorama pic program and a user manual on disk only (quick start guide is very limited).
Summary: Nice camera for a beginner, but no way compares to the Nikon Coolpix P520. Also a year after I bought it, it started doing something weird. THe flash makes a "popping" sound when it fires. Like an explosion. Nikon said they had never heard of such a thing.
Summary: It is a very good camera for the price! Lot's of good features once you learn how to navigate the menu. Nikon makes great cameras, and for this price you really can't go wrong. Pictures come out looking great! Love my new camera!
Summary: I've ALWAYS enjoyed taking pictures of scenery and didn't want to continue to clutter up my phone's storage space (especially after my old memory card got damaged & erased ALL of my pics). So, I asked for this camera as a graduation present and I'm glad that I did. I've been putting it to good use ever since. I'm strongly considering upgrading to a professional-grade camera in the future after hearing positive reviews about Nikon equipment.
