Summary: This is a great travel camera, runs on standard aa batteries, or rechargeable. Great clarity in most shots, including low light. Uses standard SDHD memory cards, I've tried 4 Gig to 32 gig with great results so far.
Summary: just came back from vacation and many of my photos WERE NOT ON THE CHIP when i downloaded the photos! we went to a museum and i took several pictures, when i got home and began to download my photos - the museum photos WERE MISSING!
Pros: easy to handle and fun to use most of the time. the movie feature is very good, the mike is sensitive and i was able to zoom in and zoom out during recording.
Cons: cannot set ISO, pictures come out fuzzy and in many photos the color is off! (reds & yellows), my main complaint is that several of my photos were NOT on the SDHC chip when i went to download! (lost in space)
Summary: I got this and I was very excited, I tried it out around the house and I noticed immediately that the focus was a little out of whack. I thought it was settings, I did what I could to readjust the settings and the focus to get a good picture.
GREAT CAMERA, If You Take The Time To Read The Manual
12 December 2011
Summary: I spent about a week reading reviews of this camera before deciding to buy one. I was shocked at the negative reviews for a Nikon (any Nikon). Among the positive reviews were notes about using the camera and READING THE MANUAL.
Summary: I ordered this camera in Nov 2010 and I loved it! I only used it a handful of times but found it easy to use. In July 2011, I turned on the camera and got a "battery exhausted" error message. So, I changed the batteries. Still got the error message. I changed the batteries again...and again..
Summary: Great mid priced cameras takes awesome photos. Some of the settings are a little different than what I am used to. Once you learn the menu system though, it goes back up to 5 stars. This camera can go around your neck or in a bag. Not as easy to put in your pocket.
Summary: Don't waste your money on this! I have had this camera for 1 year, (got it for last year's xmas pictures). When I first received the camera, I loved it...after a couple of months, it's quality faltered and now its worthless! (Yes, I know how to operate it, read the book, took photo in collage).
Summary: Ever since seeing years ago a nearly $1000 Sony made camera similar in design to this one I have wanted a camera like this. I used to do freelance photography at college and have been a fan of Nikon cameras since the original FM.
