It's great for perfect lighting

Will, Amazon
25 July 2012
  • Summary: I got this and I was very excited, I tried it out around the house and I noticed immediately that the focus was a little out of whack. I thought it was settings, I did what I could to readjust the settings and the focus to get a good picture. It's great for outdoors, the pictures that I took in the daylight were great... unfortunately I cannot keep a camera that will only work properly in the sunlight.

broke within 7 months!

Julie A. Schrei, Amazon
7 October 2011
  • Summary: I ordered this camera in Nov 2010 and I loved it! I only used it a handful of times but found it easy to use. In July 2011, I turned on the camera and got a "battery exhausted" error message. So, I changed the batteries. Still got the error message. I changed the batteries again...and again...and again. I changed brands, changed types, etc. Still have the error message.

Nikon Coolpix l100 10mp camera

kgarnett, Amazon
8 July 2011
  • Summary: Great mid priced cameras takes awesome photos. Some of the settings are a little different than what I am used to. Once you learn the menu system though, it goes back up to 5 stars. This camera can go around your neck or in a bag. Not as easy to put in your pocket. but I didn't buy it for portability.

High quality point-and-shoot but not much more

wakeandbacon, epinions.com
13 February 2011
  • Summary: This camera is worth the low price and is a good buy for photography hobbyists. However, if your budget is higher and you're looking for quality, I'd suggest another option.
  • Pros: 15x zoom, simple to use, comparatively inexpensive
  • Cons: No manual ISO, occasional misfocus, manual raise flash

  • Summary: Don't waste your money on this! I have had this camera for 1 year, (got it for last year's xmas pictures). When I first received the camera, I loved it...after a couple of months, it's quality faltered and now its worthless! (Yes, I know how to operate it, read the book, took photo in collage). Indoor pictures are ALWAYS yellow no matter what setting you put it on and most are fuzzy.

Nikon Coolpix L100

M. Shonts, Amazon
19 June 2010
  • Summary: Ever since seeing years ago a nearly $1000 Sony made camera similar in design to this one I have wanted a camera like this. I used to do freelance photography at college and have been a fan of Nikon cameras since the original FM. This Nikon camera has a tremendous zoom range and sells for around $200. Hard to believe it's been superseded already by another similar model, but such is life in the digital camera world these days.

Great Camera for the Price

Landon Fowler, Amazon
5 May 2010
  • Summary: I was looking for a camera for my wife's Christmas present. We've only ever owned the traditional lower end cameras and were looking to branch into something with more professional capabilities. This camera was a great introductory model. It is very easy to use (given a little effort of course) and the price is unbeatable for the feature set.
