Of the three L-series Coolpixes, the L10 and L11 are much more basic than the L12, with lower resolution sensors (5.0-Mp and 6.0-Mp vs. 7.1-Mp), a lower maximum ISO (800 vs. 1,600), and a simple 3x zoom vs. the L12's optically stabilized lens. The L12 also captures AVI movies rather than the MOV movies of the L10 and L11, which may or may not be a factor for you. Read more
The 5-megapixel Nikon L10 features a 4x digital zoom, a maximum ISO of 800, and can be powered with AA batteries. Read more

The Nikon Coolpix L10 makes a great budget point-and-shoot camera, if you don't mind its paltry 5-megapixel resolution. Read more
I t seems like the photography bug has bitten the whole world. Camera manufacturers are going all out to cater to every consumer need as well. No more is a digital camera out of reach for the average man. I remember a time when buying a digital camera meant shelling out at least Rs. 15,000 plus for the most basic of digicams, but now with the obscene amount of options and variations available, you the consumer, can have your pick at a price that you can afford. Despite its lack of features and low number of megapixels, the Nikon Coolpix L10 works surprisingly well. It responds in performance and -- even though they're small -- the 5-megapixel photos look quite good. Read more
I love the movie feature I can take half an hour of tv quality movies with sound in a 1GB SD card, I highly recommend this camera . This really was a great selection considering the price I paid online in a special sale only $89. Read more
For a budget camera the L10 has much to recommend it, with superb build quality, sensible and attractive design, good performance and excellent battery life. It even has some features that you’d not expect to find this far down the price scale. It’s only weaknesses are poor low-light focusing and less-than-sparkling picture quality, but if you’re on a very tight budget you have to make certain sacrifices. Read more
At around £85 the Nikon Coolpix L10 is excellent value for a simple snapshot camera. Yet there's nothing cheap-looking about the Nikon Coolpix L10. It has a stylish, thin-profile body that slides nicely into a pocket. Read more
Nikon's L10 is the most affordable digital camera with a zoom lens we have ever seen. It doesn't look cheap, though, and its build quality seems just as robust as that of the other cameras in the group. The screen is relatively small at 2in across, but its 153,000-pixel resolution is among the most detailed here. It's the only camera here to include face detection, but this adjusts only the focus and not exposure, and it is slow to track movement. Read more
This was a great camera 3 years ago and still is decent now. But at $200 if you buy this you are getting screwed BIG TIME. You can get the new coolpix l24 model with better zoom and resolution for $100-140. I bought my L10 new for $100 three years ago. So BUYER BEWARE. Research before you buy. Read more
I wanted an inexpensive camera that I could grab when I didn't want to have to lug around the camera bag with the 12x zoom camera. This camera is small enough to be carried in a coat or pants pocket without much notice. When off, a door closes over the lens so you don't need a separate camera bag/cover. Provided enough light the camera takes nice pictures. Indoors and areas without ample amounts of light can be an issue. Read more
I've had this camera for about 3 months and I've only gotten a handful of decent picture out of it. Read more
I do graphic design work and have actually used this for professional reasons, (web site work as well as printed ad work) and it does the job nicely. You may have to retake a few shots now and then to get the exact colors you want but overall its worth it. Read more
This is our second Coolpix L10 camera. The other still works fine. We bought a second one just to have an extra. Great product and easy to figure out how to use. I would reccomend this camera to anyone. Read more
I have had this camera for about 4 years now, and I am seriously in need of an upgrade. Though this camera takes quality photos, it is rare that it happens. I have several issues with his camera-I will list them out: 1. Out of 100 photos, about 10% are crisp. 2. The only way I can seem to get photos to mostly be crisp is through close-up mode which I leave it on always. (makes up the 10 percent non blurry photos) 3. Time to take the picture is at least 1-5 seconds. Read more
Overall it's a great camera for any occasion where flash is not needed. I don't remember where I bought it but I don't think it was Newegg. However, their current price makes this a simple choice for those wanting a simple second camera or one to use outdoors. Read more
This is a great starter camera or for teens. It doesn't have a lot of bings and buzzers, but it does take a great picture. You can also take mini videos with it. My main complaint is that it takes too long for it to actually take the photo. So if you are trying to capture something quick - like a pet or child - by the time it actually takes the photo your subject has moved. I have gotten some great landscapes, sunsets, and architectural photos. The color is very vivid. Read more

All three cameras sport a sharp 3x optical Zoom-Nikkor glass lens, a big, bright LCD and a lightweight, ultra-portable body style The Nikon Coolpix L10 design is of high-quality and its features are user-friendly, moreover it is selling at affordable prices. Nikon Coolpix L10 is not so impressive, its unassuming, blocky plastic body measures just an inch and its weight is 5.9 ounces including the SD card and two AA batteries. As it is compact it can easily fit in pants and shirts pockets. The camera sports a relatively low-resolution 5-megapixel sensor, a narrow 37.5-112.5mm equivalent, f/2.8-5.2 3x optical zoom lens, and a 2-inch LCD screen with fully automatic exposure control. The Nikon Coolpix L10 includes 16 pre-programmed Scene modes that help to capture great photos in wide variety of different shooting situations. Even though the camera’s resolution is 5-megapixels, the photos are stunningly bright. Actually there is no need of a high-resolution camera to get nice pictures. An added advantage to this camera is that it also acts as a camcorder. The Nikon Coolpix L10 offers very few user controls but features the same useful features Nikon includes on all of its Coolpix cameras. Face-Priority AF finds faces in portraits and family photos enabling the right focus. In-Camera Red-Eye Fix corrects red-eye when processing photos. D-Lighting senses when subjects are backlit or dark, and changes exposure settings to balance the shoot. All this help to make the pictures more beautiful. This little Nikon Coolpix L10 camera has few features, a very slow flash recycle time, and can only produce up to 5-megapixel shots. Nevertheless due to its very alluring price and acceptable picture quality, all combine to make this camera user friendly and on top very saleable.
