Summary: The reason I purchased this camera has to do with the delay in how long it takes to actually take a picture after pushing the shutter button. Every other camera I had tried in this price range was unnaceptable. The coolpix series have a reasonable level of performance in shutter delay.
Summary: My wife and I own a Nikon non-digital camera which is extraordinary and hence we wanted to go for a Nikon. We wanted something handy and good in quality. We went for Nikon Coolpix 4600 and are not disappointed. There are two constraints though. a. The time between two shots b. The zoom.
Summary: I bought this Nikon for my mother (who has a habbit of breaking cameras) as her first digital. It needed to be easy to use and compact. It was also important that it take standard AA batteries as my mother would never remember to charge it. I was pleased to find all of these features in this camera.
Pros: Compact size, Fast power-up, Bright LCD, Great image quality & Internal memory.
Cons: No included SD card, But they are so cheap now, that is not a problem.
Pros: I had to order from Ritz because it was cheaper. I still love Newegg though. The camera is small, hi def, and is just a bundle of joy. My 5 year old cousin picked it up and was able to use it in a matter of minutes. It is idiot proof
Cons: Price. 5mp cameras run around that now, but you get what you pay for.
Summary: and of course..NewEgg is an excellent place to shop
Pros: i have the 3200 and my sister was in need of a digital camera..so i bought her this one for her birthday...its not the best out there by any means..but for a novice picture taker..its all you need and more..it takes great photo's..and its ease of use is great for a camera novice
Pros: 1) Takes really good shots, even in low light situations... but really need to get to know the camera and its functions well to utilize 100% since it does so much for something so small. 2) Great battery life... I usually take about a good 150 pictures and movie clips on two AA Duracell batteries...
Cons: 1) My main gripe is the recording speed. It takes about 3-4 secs. to go from picture to picture most of the time, especially when using higher amounts of flash. But then again, its main purpose is for occasional shooting and not a professional camera so its good enough for beginners. 2) Movie cli...
