Summary: I bought this camera to replace the same model that I already had, which I screwed up by forcing the wrong cable into the receptacle for an upload of pics. The price had come down considerably, considering I initially paid about $100 for one of them when new.
Summary: I bought this as a backup for my first COOLPIX 4600 that I love. The price was right and I was happy to win it. The battery compartment lid was broken but I can still get it to close. That wasn't disclosed. Other than that, it's a great little camera.
Summary: I love this little camera. The one I purchased before this was broken(battery door fell off). The camera takes great pictures with good details.I purchased 2 other cameras, 2 different brands, the picture quality did not compare.
Summary: I used to have this camera and I loved it. It is particularly useful for macro shots. The camera I just received is not in as good a shape as I hoped. The described crack in the battery door is more substantial than I thought. Otherwise a good camera.
Summary: First digital I have ever bought. Still learning how to use it so I can get pictures on e-bay. Still love my Nikon 8008 35mm, but time to move into the 21st century. Bought it because it was a Nikon at a very reasonable price (25.00).
Summary: The camera is fairly easy to use. Having it on automatic it takes great pictures. However, if you try some of the scenes it is less than great. I tried it out on the indoor setting (party), and the colors brightened, but the picture was blurry.
Summary: SOME WHAT COMPLICATED TO TRANSFER PICTURES TO COMPUTER,BUT YOU CAN COUNT ON NIKON QUALITY FOR SOME OF THE SHARPEST QUALITY PICTURES. THIS 4MPG CAMERA EASILY OUT SHOOTS CHEAPER ,HIGHER MEGAPIXIL CAMERAS.BOUGHT A QUALITY USED CAMERA FOR AROUND $30.00
Summary: I've purchased this camera as a second backup for smaller and Quick shots. It was used but lightly used. The menues and operating system is simple but very effective. With Nikon camera's I know they are stable and reasonably reliable.
