Amazingly versatile camera system with reasonable compromises

Summary: I never thought I'd be writing this review. I used to have a Canon APS-C body with a few L lenses, but I abandoned that a few years ago due to the size (baby in tow). At that time, I discovered the micro 4/3 system, and was very happy with the results, especially with the reduced bulk.
Summary: I have had this camera for about 6 months. It is an amazing Mirrorless Camera that has all the bells and whistles of cameras much more expensive than the Nikon 1 sells for. You have the option to shoot in Raw, Manual, Aperture Priority and Shutter Priority. Just like the big guys (DSLR's).
Very solid and compact camera and you'd never know it was ever refurbished.

Summary: I received this product free for review but as always, despite receiving a free product I'm perfectly candid in my review. My observations follow below in more or less chronological order. * Looking at this product I'd never know it was refurbished. Extremely pristine externals and no signs of wear.
Summary: I've owned a camera for 45 years since back during the flash bulb era when I was young. I owned a Minolta X-700 back in the 80's when taking a picture was lot's more difficult. I've taken a college photography course that taught a lot of concepts and skills.
Summary: I have had this camera a few days, mostly played around with it indoors. I'm an experienced amateur, who mostly enjoys photography as a hobby, I love nature, stillife, candid and food photography, with occasion to photograph family or friends.
