Summary: I was very excited about this camera especially based on previous experiences with Leica products. This camera let me down, unfortunately. The X1 screams quality but, in the case of my unit, it was just a facade. Every single picture taken with the camera came out with an artifact which always showed in the same location. This was a huge disappointment. Thankfully, I think I'll be able to fix the pictures on photoshop but this is inexcusable in such a premium product.
Pros: For those familiar with 35mm film cameras, transitioning to this camera will be a breeze. Menu system is very easy to navigate. Two year warranty coverage--which you many need to use the multiple times.
Cons: Slightly slow focusing time. Rapidfire snapping of photos is also a problem. F/stop and shutter speed can be changed too easily (accidentally)--meaning that the user needs to check these setting before each use of the camera. If my experience is
Summary: Me entró por el ojo; siempre soñé con tener una leica y el precio, aunque bastante cara, no es el de una M. Pero después de probarla, todo es humo. La pantalla si hace un poco de sol es difícil ver nada. Pesa muy poco y a menos que la velocidad sea alta, o pongas un trípode, la foto sale movida. El objetivo no es summilux, solo decentito. A mas de 400 ISO ruido al canto. En fin, una tremenda decepción.; y lo que es peor, lo que he pagado por ella.
