Excerpt: I have not had a lot of time to fully put this little guy to the test, but so far, I'm impressed. After reading many reviews on a lot of its competitors, I decided to finally spend the extra $ and get the Leica. Glad I did. Great smaller size that actually fits in your pocket; solid build; image quality seems top notch; stylish design; and it actually has a view finder. Not the best in the world, but just having one on something this size is nice.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light, Great Zoom, Small / Compact
Excerpt: Just returned from Machu Picchu and The Galapagos where the Leica C performed exactly as advertised by both Leica and B&H Photo Video. Unsurpassed when traveling to out of the way places by difficult conveyance where carrying a 35mm digital camera body and various lenses would be both cumbersome and impractical for all but the most seasoned professional photographers.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: I finally moved away from lugging my canon 5D III around, and switched to the Canon M mirror less which I love, but its not pocketable and lack of dedicated lenses in the line up yet had me looking for something more versatile. The Leica C has me floored. The IQ is outstanding, ease of use, a VIEWFINDER!!!!!! I take it everywhere and the the reach to 200mm on something this small while still keeping the IQ is awesome..
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: I use it as a supplementary camera to carry with me wherever I go. It fits in my pocket just as easily as my iPhone, but captures images in a far superior way the iPhone. It's very simple to operate, the flash works just fine for its intended range. the zoom is quick and easy. I don't use this camera in low light without its flash...if I ever anticipate low light shooting, I'd use a different camera which is suited for that type of shooting (i.e. the Leica M 240).
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Small / Compact
Excerpt: As much as I love my big cameras, I can't really carry any of them with me 24/7...and that's where the little Panasonic LX5 used to come in. The main problem was that it was not exactly "pocketable" (even less so with the EVF attached) but more of a "big coat pocket camera". My venerable LX5 had seen a lot of use and was getting a bit long-in-the-tooth.
Pros: Easy to Use, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: I have been using Leicas since I was a young man. My dad had a IIIF STRD. That is what I learned photography on. Now it is a Point and Shoot. I give you that. I believe all of these Point and Shoots are made by Panasonic. It will save you hundreds to buy the original manufactures camera and not the rebranded Leica one. Cons: The WIFI feature is sporatic. Will not stay connected. While toe reaction time to take an image is not that great.
Pros: Good in Low Light, Great Resolution
Cons: Lag / Shutter Delay, Poor Image Stabilization
