Excerpt: I've had a couple of digital cameras over the years, my last camera was a lot better than this Minolta but it was broken when I dropped it, I needed a cheap replacement and wasn't to bothered about perfect quality however I am surprised at the quality and features of this camera and it only has 2 megapixel. This camera has been easy to use, simple Controls, and there are a few reasonably advanced features combined with an extremely compact design.
Excerpt: This camera is perhaps one of the most user-friendly cameras that I have encountered. It avoids the trap of many other digital cameras, with only a few buttons which are multifunctional, as opposed to lots of one-use buttons. This combines with the easy navigation of the camera menus to make the DiMAGE very easy to use. The LCD display is also impressive. The refresh rate is much faster than on other digital camaeras.
Pros: Super easy to use, light and portable and a great first digital camera for all
Cons: The software is unsatisfactory, and the SD card included is far from what it could be
Excerpt: My first digital camera was a Kodak. It cost a fortune when I bought it in the late-90s, because it was a mighty megapixel - but at least I managed to get it in a bundle with a 48Mb flash card. Bulky, rather unreliable focus, terrible battery life. But it changed my life. Living overseas, sending pictures to friends and family around the world was a doddle, and when I added a 96Mb card I could take picture after picture on holiday at the highest quality and never run...
Pros: Brilliant quality, great portability
Cons: Like most digital cameras, comes without enough memory
Excerpt: The Minolta Dimage X claims to be the lightest, smallest and thinnest Minolta camera, and I haven't seen that many minoltas to prove it other wise. It certainly looks stylish enough to me and it's feels extremely light. However to tell you the truth, I'm not exactly an expert on cameras, working the zoom is about as technical as I get but I have read up on a few facts in the instruction manual of the camera to give you this review (and have learnt a surprising lot about...
Excerpt: I love this camera. It's so useful whether you want to record a video or some sound or just take excellent quality photos. It can record up to 35 seconds of video or 90 seconds of audio at a time and can take photos up to a resolution of 1600x1200. It has 3x optical zoom and 2x digital zoom. It is very slim because the zoom takes place after the mirror so is going down the inside of the camera rather than out of the front.
Pros: Very slim due to its zooming after the mirror
