High quality camera for a great price.

Summary: This is one solid camera. Feels good in my hands. To buy a similar one that is new would be quite a bit more costly. Having a good time learning its features. I find the manual easy to understand. The only thing lacking is the ability to use larger capacity SDHC cards; it accepts only SD cards and they are 2 GB maximum. So for video I've reduced the resolution to extend the time of the video and I bought two additional cards should I need more time.
Summary: I love the Minolta DiMage camera. I use it for still close up shots; and it works great. I really like the hand grip because I can hold the camera still enough without a tri-pod. The camera may be a little heavy for some but, I like the size and the weight. It seems like an extension of my hand. I find that I have great control with this camera. It is worth the price. I have not used it for long or wide shots so, I cannot attest to how it operates in that setting.
Summary: I have owned this model camera since I purchased it on clearance from Circuit City years ago. It served me really well. I just broke the LCD lens and had to decide to get my current camera repaired or buy another one on ebay. Surprisingly, found it on ebay! Can't wait to get my replacement camera. I hope my old camera doesn't get jealous.
Awesome Camera for Pro and neophyte Photographic work !!

Summary: I started with a Minolta SR1 went to a Minolta XD11 and then an older Minolta Dimage VII before moving on to a Konica Minolta Z3 which was an improvement sold that for my current Konica Minolta Z6 which has been an excellant choice for me.... I am now buying my second Z6 as I need it for my job inspecting used vehicles as I hated the poor quality I was getting with my work issued iPad 2 which took too long to take pictures and killed the battery in a short period of...
Summary: I owned this camera before and really like the pictures it took. It's a great camera for still shots. Vary nice clean pictures. When taking moving or far away pictures it's a roll of the dices. You can get lens attachments and filters for it, as I did, that will improve your picture even more. All in all it's a excellent starter camera for someone that wants to learn to walk before they run!
Very versitle and takes quality pics, great value for the $$

Summary: This camera takes awesome pics, have a Z1 (bought my son one also)and love it too, best bang for the buck on used/new digitals, the Z6 is taking better pics and if youread the book and use the settings its a very veritile camera for a amature photographer like myself.
Excerpt: I've had the DiMAGE Z6 only 2 weeks and can't believe the results. I've used other digital cameras for around $400.00, But nothing like this! Color & Sharpness is truly incredible. One thing I thought was going to be a drawback was the shadowing that was going to be created, (FujiFilm said they solved this with there "Real Photo Technology"), taking indoor shots.
Excellent camera, ESPECIALLY for the price you can get them for these days!

Summary: I've owned one of these for MANY years and loved it! My favorite part is the macro's. I've gone as far as to put the lens ON a flower petal and taken UNREAL pictures of the morning dew ON the petal. The only cons that I've run into is the weight. With four "AA" batteries, it does tend to weigh a little bit. Another "problem" is that I have YET to find a REASONABLY priced camera that will take SHARP pictures in LOW light without the flash.
