Good mid range camera

vickigrot..., Ciao

  • Excerpt: "A great camera that can withstand a variety of knocks and bangs. I've had this camera for 5 years now and never had a problem. It takes good clear pictures which are easily viewed on the camera or transfered to the computer. Probably the most annoying thing is the delay between taking several photo's. If you want to capture a second photo you have to wait several seconds which is often too long. Also the time between pressing the button and ...

A camera for fairly exigent amateur photographers

  • Excerpt: "I don´t happen to be a computer nor a photography freak, but I manage well with both disciplines, and I had had previous experiences with not-so-good digital cameras whose quality was not by far comparable to my good old optical one. But as finally digital cameras started catching up I decided to go for it, and try to get hold of a moderately good gadget. After annoying a poor sales assistant for more than half an hour trying to make him explain ...
  • Pros: Compact, resistant, powerful, easy to use

Konica Digital Revio KD-310Z: Revio rave!

maxhale, Dooyoo
1 February 2004
  • Summary: This is a great little camera. I know because I've a few digital cameras and I know what I'm looking for and what is needed, by me anyway! Firstly the feel of the camera when you pick it up..it feels heavy and of quality. An all-metal body (very rare) gives it an old fashioned feel but then again it's just how a camera should feel in the hand. It sits nicely in the hand. The size is good too and it looks like a 35mm compact and therefore familiar.
  • Pros: Metal body, Easy download battery power not needed, Fantastic quality images
  • Cons: A little heavier than usual, shutter cover needs to be locked in place before lens opens

This little camera beats many big names hands down

  • Excerpt: "...Olympus and Canon and at Konica and Minolta. The chap in the local camera shop showed me examples of photos he'd taken of Ramsgate Harbour and the amazing thing was that the realistic quality of the reflections on the water from the boats was far superior for the Minolta and Konica than for the mainstream equivalent models. Armed with this, it was down to design and the cigarette packet size of the Konica sold me on it. The camera can take both ...

  • Excerpt: "...so I went for the Konica Digital Revio KD-310Z Digital Camera. The KD-310Z satisfies my demands well, bringing ultra high-resolution 5-megapixel performance in a compact, lightweight, and easy to use body. They tell me that the KD-310Z is one of the world's smallest camera in the 5megapixel, 3X optical zoom class. Its classic dark grey stainless steel alloy exterior with a green LED indicator provides a contemporary appearance. The camera's ultra ...

  • Excerpt: "Have purchased the Digital Revio KD-310Z and I have to say that I am extremely satisfied! The camera weighs very little bit, and is of dimensions 94mm(L) x 57mm(A) x 29.5mm(P), few more than a packet of cigarettes! The resolution is of 3.32 Million pixel and the maximum format it is 2048x1526 pixel. The photos are of very good quality, well you define. The format is clearly JPG. The interface of communication is USB and doesn't require drivers, ...

Good build quality, easy to use and can take great pictures. The camera supports both Memory Stick and MMC/SD formats, includes 2MB of internal memory and comes with a 16MB MMC. The Lithium rechargable battery could last longer but a second battery can be bought for around £25.00. It also has one of the quickest boot up times, and as soon as you switch it on by sliding ...
