Summary: I was under the impression that this camera had a wifi connection to share photos to social media. My daughter says that is not the case. It must be plugged into a computer. So not at all what I was looking for. I have not seen any photos printed yet so I have no idea what the quality is like. Was just really disappointed to learn that with the push of a button she could not upload photos. Guess the best way to do that is with a smart phone.
Summary: I love the concept of this camera and have always had good quality pictures with past Kodak cameras. This camera does not have the sharp pictures I expected. I love the design and the thinness but am otherwise disappointed.
Excerpt: The Kodak slice is sleek, light and simply beautiful. However, Kodak is a bit decpetive in how they chose to market this product. They advertised it as having internal memory able to hold up 5000 pictures, they failed to mention that you still need a memory card. They also advertise it as 14 mega pixels without informing consumers that you have to change the settings. The touch screen is not very sensitive and the scolling feature is nearly useless.
Excerpt: well first of all this camara looks really great I love the way it takes pictures is a really good quality, i also like that is not like all the cameras it has its own style that makes it different from the other ones.i totally love it I also like that i can edit my pictures in the camera like make them black and white i can crop them and i seriusly love that! Summary: I liked the design. Its a pretty camera. i really like that this camera is a touchscreen! The thing I dislike about this product is that the camera doesnt want to turn back on after I put in the SD card so I cant really take many pictures with the cameras memory. I like the look of it but the picture quality isn't so great. Uhhh i dont know if this camera is all that great.
Summary: This is a nifty little camera, and it takes great pictures and has some cool features. But beware, the battery is CRAP!!! It doesn't hold a charge for anything! I can't even take this camera (fully charged) out for one day and count on it taking pictures for 12 hours! I have a Kodak M853 8.2mp that holds a charge forever...WHAT HAPPENED KODAK? I think some serious cuts were made in creating this camera!
Summary: I didn't really like this camera. I admit i was impressed by all the features and the reasonable pricing but i should have never judged a book by its cover. Things i did like about the SLICE were the user interface. It was very simple and easy to use. Features like the Kodak App button made it very easy to upload photos to your computer and FB. But that's were the joyride ended. The first issue i noticed was the low quality pictures the Slice took.
Summary: Great point and shoot and also takes great video, and auto focus is very fast. However, a slight tremor and throw the image into a blurry black hole if you don't have the ISO tweaked just right and doesn't make a lot of sense in a point and shoot. The smart scene thing that Kodak has, which automatically changes the modes to suit the shot (i.e. macro, landscape) is really cool, fast, and surprisingly accurate.
