Summary: I have a background of 35mm film SLR cameras. I gave that up for point and shoot models, many models. This is my return to the SLR series. I am amazed with the quality for the price. I can shoot things I can barely see with the 50x optical 200x total zoom. Tonight I shot pictures in 200x zoom of the full moon with what I normally see though my telescope. The camera figured out the lighting, F-stop, speed and created a perfect moon shot including the craters.
Summary: The only thing I would change would to have two batteries come with the camera, or have the option to purchase two batteries. I cannot find one on the net anywhere and I have done some massage searching and phone calling. Even Kodak does not offer the ability to purchase a second battery. This would be nice for day long excursions where you can not recharge the battery from a 110 outlet. The rest of the camera is amazing!!!
Summary: I have 2 Kodak cameras. I have had them for several years & mainly use them. They take good pictures & have held up well. When I saw that Wal-Mart had one on sale, which you do not see these days, I grabbed it. I was so sorry to see Kodak close down. My mother had a Kodak box camera when I was small. She also took a lot of pictures. I love pictures, they let you see the memories & people that you have known & loved over the years, that are no longer with us.
Summary: I just bought this camera and where do I start... I bought this because of the optical zoom and the price. It has no view finder, you only have the screen. I went online to look for an extra battery and this camera is not listed. You have to charge the battery in the camera. That I don't like, I always like to keep an extra battery. But I will experiment with it and we shall see... I have always had a Kodak and have loved them until now.
