Summary: I love this camera! It takes great close ups of flowers that are crisp and clear. There are so many different photo shooting options: landscape; panorama; portrait; and the list goes on! I would recommend this camera, but also that you take the time to learn how to use it before taking it out, to make sure you can get the best picture quality. Another thing you might want to invest in is a tripod.
Summary: FIRST, AND VERY IMPORTANT: Kodak no longer makes digital cameras and they're not giving customer support for older models either. If you go to their website and try to get support for ANY digital camera you won't get anything other than "knowledge base" stuff to read. They won't give support by chat, email, or phone. Nothing for digital cameras old or new.
Summary: My new Kodak AZ251 camera is the greatest camera I have ever owned. Believe me I have several bands and models that I thought would be great. Fuji, Olympus, Samsung, and a few others now retired in my closet are junk next to this one. None of them has matched the Kodak AZ 251. Every function has performed even greater than I even expected. Focus functions are excellent even at 25X. My shakey hands did not distort the picture at all. Well worth the price.
Summary: Great camera for a beginner. Met all my expectations and then some. Has all the features I was looking for and at a price I could afford. Will take a while to learn to use all the features but that's part of the fun. Have shot over 200 pics with the batteries that were included with the camera and they still have life left in them. I only wish it came with a printed manual, instead of a disc, so I could have it with me to refer to while away from my computer.
Summary: I am still learning all the features this camera offers. Most of the time the pictures were clear. There were times when pictures were out of focus or grainy, but I believe it was my fault because I did not hold the camera steady or I used the maximum digital zoom. However, I had problems focusing beyond 16X when using alkaline batteries. I bought rechargeable NIMH 1350 mAh batteries and I did not have the focusing problem anymore.
Summary: The specifications of the camera might fool you but dont be the camera is not made well. It uses cheap quality material feels cheap and looks cheap in real life . On the internet they do a good job at pretending that this is the same quality kodak used to produce. These are not made by kodak they are made by a 1 year old company named jk imaging and its just not the same.
