Summary: A great buy for the money. I bought mine as a Used Like New and it works perfectly. I got the owners manuel off of the internet but there is no computer program, anymore. It does have a memory card that is easy to transfer the pics to the computer and then you can edit them as you see fit. The automatic part is great but I use mine quite a bit in the manual mode to take night time photography when I set the right shutter, flash or not, and the ISO (all that works also).
Summary: I bought this used online for $50 over 5 years ago and it has never once let me down. With the generous pixel format, if you're good at Gimp/Photoshop you will be able to take pics like a pro. My model had no rechargeable battery, but I bought a CR-V3 rechargeable for a few buck online and it works fine. I would only have one warning, and it may be because of my ignorance. I have found no way to use it as the prime focus of a telephoto lens.
Summary: one of the best I have had so far, very easy to use !!!!clear pictures and easy to handle !!has an inbuilt instruction manual for beginners and comes with most effects just like the professional camera's on the market.
Summary: Had this camera for over 3 years now and still works perfectly. I used it for taking pictures and doing videos for youtube. Videos all come out great as the pictures. Only thing i can say bad is its a bit slow between pictures but other then that, this camera and me been through a lot of moments and she still makes me proud =)
Summary: love love love this camera. it is light weight and easy to use. professional looking photos. Worth the money! Professional features without all of the extra attachments. Camera is self explanatory, if you want a video you switch it, regular pictures, or to review pics just switch it back to that with a small turn of a dial. Battery changing and sd card is easy to change in and out. If you have the opportunity to get this camera you will not be disappointed.
Summary: Like everyone else, I had problems with the battery and the lens cap staying on. I upgraded my batteries to the lithium batteries by energizer and I only have to replace them once a year (and I use my camera on a regular basis) and I simply removed the lens cap! This is not a big concern since I keep it in a carrying case, which, is a wise way to protect your investment whether you have a lens cap or not.
