Summary: I have owned one of these cameras since they first came out, I used the data cord hundreds of times until the port in the camera finally wore out after 4 or 5 yrs of weekly use. Kodak stopped production on these digitals and since I like it so much I decided to buy another good used one so that when number one finally dies I'll have one to continue with.
Summary: I already have a camera just like it which has been used often for at least 3 years. Since the camera is no longer being made, I wanted to replace mine with an identical one. The pictures are excellent and I know the camera; thus, I don't have to learn to operate a new one.
Summary: I had my Kodak EASYSHARE Z950 stolen. I liked it so much, I searched Ebay and found one to bid on. The only thing I am now missing is the pictures in my camera at the time it was stolen. The picture is good and it downloads easily. There are a couple of problems I have; one is taking pictures in motion, the other is it sometimes has difficulty focusing on objects where there are multiple objects in the screen.
Excerpt: 3 stars assuming dslrs as starting at 4, I have had my z for a few years now and am very happy with it for the money I spent. I have used it for snap shots and more involved artistic attempts, like floral close ups and things like that. This is my second kodak point and shoot and the second time I have been happy with the purchase and the photo results, easy to use good color and good sharpnes for the money, I do blow up shots from this camera to 8X10 for wall hanging.
Summary: I owned this camera previously and it became damaged. I truely enjoyed it and it was easy to use. I enjoyed it so much that when the one I had was damaged the only choice I could see was to buy another. I am very pleased with this product and would purchase it again if the need for another arose.
Summary: I like to take pictures. I'm no professional photographer, but I took a mini course during a summer camp in high school. So, every time I get a chance at a camera, I like to take pictures with all sorts of angles and focus. This camera is amazing! With my own experience and being able to customize how the pictures will look, they end up looking amazing.
Worked well for 13 months, then broke frustratingly

Summary: I bought Z950 in September, 2010. It worked for a year fine. Now it can no longer focus at all. It starts up with normal focus. I can zoom in and out and it stays in focus. Regrettably, as soon as I press the usual 'big button' halfway to focus, it instead blurs for as long as the camera stays on. Pictures and video become blurred. The blurring gets worse as I try to take more pictures. Blurring occurs in all modes, including video.
If digital cameras have a limited user life, then pay less . . .

Summary: I am finding that my Kodak Digital Cameras decisively fail at around 5 years. My Easeyshare Z730 had a big crack on the the display and the door latch and battery clip was not holding. On my wife's EasyShare Z730, her shutter button was unresponsive 60% of the time. Since I lost my aging EasyShare Z730 while in vacation and since my wife's camera is no longer usable in a practical way, I followed my philosophy of getting more camera than before and...
Summary: The Kodak Z950 is a refurbished and it works like its Brand new. The screen had No scratches and looked perfect. There is a little space where the back screen frame connects to the top of the camera. But for about 80 dollars less than the brand new price, I don't mind. The Camera takes good pictures, especially at 10 times zoom. It has a focus radar type of software that is Great!
