Great for the price

Deb H. "Deb", Amazon

  • Summary: This little camera does everything I want it to do and more. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have an Eye viewer. This makes it hard to see what you are shooting at when in bright sunlight so it is a guessing game in that aspect. I have taken several pictures that made it into juried photo contests using this.

  • Excerpt: i have a very old kodak 620 which for some aspects reminds me this z915. a great camera ruined by some great faults, what the z lacks of the ancestor is the reliability. it was repaired under warranty and the broke down after only few months. till it worked the results were acceptable, oversatured colours make landscape pics look great, like velvia slide and printable images could be taken up to 800 iso.

I must have bought a lemon!

Mickey_Sticks, CNET

  • Summary: I would not recommend the Kodak EasyShare Z915 to my worst enemy! We bought this camera because of the features and the price point, and maybe we got a lemon, but we have had nothing but bad luck with it ever since. The camera freezes up and will not open/close once it does. It is necessary to remove the batteries and essentially 'reboot' the camera. We have gotten some good pictures and videos, but for the most part, it's trash.
  • Pros: Takes good pictures and videos - when it works!
  • Cons: I've had nothing but problems with this camera for years

Best camera I have ever owned

  • Summary: I am not a photographer, I am a Mom! I want to be able to take nice pics of my kids to share and to keep. This camera has met my needs! This camera has always taken very nice pictures. It is very easy to operate, even for someone who doesn't know much about cameras. And it has some very nice features. We loved the panoramic option when we went to the Grand Canyon, and I love the sports option when taking pictures of my son playing football.

Blurry, grainy pics

Mom of twins, Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this after my girls let my 2 year old niece play with my old camera. (On a side note, I wish I just bought the same exact one- it was a Canon and now I can't remember which one unfortunately. It was under $100 and took the BEST pics ever. I had a cashier double check that the photo I was making copies of wasn't a professional one. I could kick myself!) I saw the reviews of this and the great price and ordered it.

Kodak Easyshare Z915 Digital Camera

  • Summary: This is a great little camera. Compact enough to take anywhere, takes excellent pictures,I have taken thousands of pictures since i got it, and have never been unhappy. The panoramic feature takes beautiful panoramic shots and even helps stitch them better if you are off a little bit. Great camera for a great price. But it was only 121.00 at the time i bought it new. I would still buy it for the price it is now though, knowing the camera.

  • Excerpt: I purchased this camera after my Pentax Optio 50 produced so terrible video clips and these were selling for 100 CAD in Jan. 2011 here. Also, the reviews were not too bad either. I am very happy with the pictures and features, specially the histogram if you need to use manual settings. Pictures and videos are surprisingly good. Problems: Video clips. They come in Quick Time and the .mov’s are so large that I can’t easily share it with anyone.

Best point and shoot Ive ever owned.

trevriffic, Ebay
6 July 2011
  • Summary: I took off 1 star on features because this has no optical viewfinder which would have made this kodak the most kik ass camera ever made for its tiny price. But its still king of any 10 mp point and shoot I have ever tried. The pic quality is just amazing and the zoom has got to be more than the stated 10x.

Kodak EasyShare Z915 is a great camera

Thomas Crane, Amazon
26 June 2011
  • Summary: Love my new Kodak EasyShare Z915, it is a great camera. You can set to Auto mode and use as a point and shoot or switch to manual and control functions to get as creative as you want. This camera takes beautiful, sharp pictures, even in low light conditions. This is my second Z915 and I am very plaesed., My only complaint is to be careful of the battery door. I broke the little plastic clip, that holds the door shut, on my previous camera.

got a lemon

Julia C. King, Amazon
6 June 2011
  • Summary: In less than 6 months after purchasing this item, the lens got stuck and wouldn't zoom. I mailed it out, under warranty for repair (had to pay shipping) through Kodak. Then, less than 2 months later, it would be focused until I pressed to take a picture and then it would go blurry and all my pictures are either dark or blurry. I really was not happy with the quality of this camera.
