Summary: THIS DIGITAL CAMERA WORKS EXCELLENT, TAKES CLEAR, PRECISE PICTURES. I USE IT TO TAKE PHOTOS OF PRODUCTS FOR E-BAY, PICTURES OF MY KIDS AND PETS AND SHOOTS VIDEO AS WELL. I CARRY IT WITH ME, BECAUSE IT'S LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY TO HANDLE. IT HAS A LOT OF OPTIONS AND JUST WORKS GREAT! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CAMERA TO OTHERS FOR PURCHASE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A QUALITY CAMERA THAT FEATURES VIDEO THAT IS VERY AFFORDABLE!
Excerpt: I bought this camera because it has low pixels and the close-up feature snce i sell on ebay and take lots of pictures of clothing. It has a lot of function buttons that I have not quite figured out but so far it has been working very nicel. The only complaint I have is that the close-up feature does not work very well and blurs the photos.
Excerpt: The Kodak EasyShare Z885 is a great, little camera with lots of options that the home photographer will enjoy. It has a large display screen and it takes clear, crisp pictures. The only drawbacks that I discovered for this camera is that there is no viewfinder (you an only use the screen when taking shots) and the camera eats batteries like they are candy.
The Kodak Z885 takes great pictures & videos for a great price!

Excerpt: We have owned this little camera for almost three years, and it operates like a champ. It is not too expensive, but it takes great pictures and great videos. We have never felt the need to purchase a video camera because we are able to take quality videos with this little guy. We have four small children, and this camera has endured their little hands and curiousity well.
Excerpt: I bought this camera about 2 years ago to replace a very simple EasyShare camera. I liked the ease of use of the EasyShare cameras but wanted something a little more advanced. I got this one since I was on a budget and was able to get this for a good price since it was the display model. The only thing I was not crazy about at first was that there was no viewfinder. You need to use the LCD screen to take the picture.
Excerpt: I bought this camera as a replacement to a previous Kodak EasyShare camera I owned. I have found that operating these cameras to be very easy. This model allows you to edit photos on the camera, as well as multiple picture settings (ie panoramic, night portraits, close ups, action shots, and many more). The display is large enough to see what you're doing without hampering your picture taking. And the digital zoom on this is AMAZING!!
Easy for first time digital camera user, plenty of options on it

Excerpt: I am a first time digital camera user, but wanted a good one with features that I can experiment with and grow into and that I need. This fit the bill with all the features I looked for and more. A great digital camera that also is a video recorder with microphone. Simple to use, yet has plenty of features for those more experienced. Takes great photos with 8.1 mp and 5x zoom.
Kodak Z885 is a great camera for the photo newbies!

Summary: The camera is easy to use and is a convenit size to put in a purse or a pocket. We replaced a camera like this with a bigger one and came back to this one because it was the right size to take everwhere.
