Summary: I was worried I wouldn't be able to use this camera, but it's much easier to use than I thought. It takes great photos and is simple to use. FYI - the software is no longer available for download from Kodak, but you'll still be able to download pictures to your computer if you get the right USB cable.
Excerpt: My Kodak is the best! It is so easy to take great pictures with and to download them onto my computer. This is my 3rd EasyShare Camera. I just keep upgrading. Everyone says I take too many pictures, then I go to their homes and guess whose pictures are hanging on the fridge...the ones I took!
Excerpt: The clarity and quality of photos I have taken with this camera are exceptional. I am pretty photogenically challenged but I am still able to take quality photos with this camera. It makes it easy.
Excerpt: Received this camera as a gift. I have admit I absolutely love it. I've taken pictures from a moving car going 75 miles an hour that turned out great. The picture quality is awesome. Love that it also has a video camera. Only negative is that it is a little complicated to use as far as chosing the correct mode for the below average photographer...
Excerpt: Great camera. As a parent of 2 small children I was looking for a camera that was fast. I wanted it to be able to take the picture nad then the next one before the kids had moved on. And this camera is great. And as an added bonus you can get SLR lenses and put them on it to take pictures really far away. Long zoom and great features. Easy to use the menus.
Excerpt: My family and I purchased the Kodak Easy Share camera about 2 years ago It has a lot of different options and ways to take picture built into it. You see the picture on a screen so you always get the perfect picture. Weve used it to take tons of family pictures for birthdays, holidays, special events, and just because. Its been dropped quite a few times so I would say that its pretty durable as well. The pictures all come out looking great and theres even settings to...
Summary: I bought this camera to replace a Kodak 5.1 MP that went down a river with me, outside the canoe. Even though it still worked after being submerged there were water spots on the inside of the lens so I got the Z812. I am amazed at the pictures I've taken with the Z812! It's has noticebly faster response with the zoom, focus and exposure than other cameras I looked at and that makes for better pictures.
Summary: The camera listed here is the one I ordered, but there was damage found before shipping, and it was the last one available. I was offered the next one up, which is the EASY SHARE Z1012 IS, and that is what I am evaluating. This a great camera for someone like me. I love to take photo's, but not always want the hassle of manually setting up for a shot. With this camera, I have the option of auto or manual focus.
Summary: This is a great camera! I own an older 5.1 Megapixel Kodak Easyshare and love how it operates. So when this newer style showed up for auction, I knew I had to get one. Most of the features are the same as the older model, but have been updated to better serve the picture taker. Plus there area few added bonuses to this style. You have the option of editing your photo immediately after your shot, but cropping and fixing exposure. Very cool.
