Summary: I have been a photographer and gallery owner for several years, and this model of Kodak is my favorite camera. I have a high end Canon with a phenomenal telephoto and I get great standard shots with it. However, the Kodak sings.
Summary: My plan was to replace my Kodak Z812IS 8.2 MP Digital Camera with a duplicate. I did so with much success. Mr. Robert VandeBrake sent a letter of very helpful information with the camera. This was amazing! I was very pleased I chose to deal with him. This is the first used product I have purchased.
Summary: This is without a doubt the best camera I have ever owned. We run a home inspection business and this camera went into the crawlspaces (lots of dirt) and into attics (lots of heat and webs) and still managed to last four years! When my first one finally died, I bought another one just like it.
For The Money, You Can't Go Wrong.. Battery Issues? Read The Manual!
22 February 2009
Summary: Just a few quick comments, as you have so many to wade through! The BATTERY ISSUE is clear-the manual states: "Lithium digital camera battery CRV3, rechargeable Lithium Ion battery, OR AA LITHIUM!
Summary: Found this for $209 at sams club but they want $60 for a 4gb sd card so purchase those here @ the egg
Pros: Takes amazing quality pictures. any kodak camera i have owned have been able to take amazing photos. I was looking at the nikon d60 but it was just out of my budget. then i found this one at sam's club and fell in love with it.
Cons: Doesnt come with a cd cable... kodak wants $30 i just switched to my rechargable energizer the video quality isnt what i would call HD mine seems to be a tad grainy wasnt free
Summary: All around a nice camera, and worth the money I'd say.
Pros: Looks good, easy to hold, nice form factor. Pictures look amazing if you take them right. The HD video 1280x720 is as good as some camcorders (with proper lighting).
Cons: Video compression could be better, 1 minute of HD video is going to cost you 100 MB... O_O Auto-mode can turn out some strange pictures every once in a while, so take two shots if it is important.
Summary: This is a great camera for the price, takes great pictures, plenty of features. I cycle through my rechargables really fast though. Just a warning, the case in the package deal is not nearly big enough to fit this camera in.
Pros: Great quality pictures, 12x zoom, electronic viewfinder, good click to capture time, feels solid and well-built, price.
Summary: Awesome camera! First a little background. I have owned several Kodak cameras over the years, although my first digital was a Sony, so I am a little biased to Kodak. I loved my Z730 that was a few years old, but my son broke it on me so I decided it was time for an upgrade on features anyway.
