Excerpt: The Kodak Easy Share Z812-IS is a very nice camera for the price. It takes great pictures and I love he "IS" piece - image stabilizer. You can zoom in with it's 10x zoom capabilities and the picture still comes out focused on your subject. The camera I have came with a rechargable battery which has a decent life span. I can haul it to a couple different events before the battery wears out.
The camera is easy to use and screen is perfectly-sized!

Excerpt: The Kodak - EasyShare Z812IS Digital Camera is incredible. My first experience with digital cameras was also with a Kodak EasyShare camera and I really liked that one, but the view screen for the photographer was small and it was hard to tell if the picture taken was a good quality or not.
Excerpt: This camera is great. It allows me to take pictures of my quickly moving targets (my kids). One right after the other. The zoom will let you get close up without disturbing your target. For the price it is great. I love the screen to preview the pictures and the menus are very user friendly. Just dont forget your memory card the internal memory does not have that much room.
Summary: I love the camera I bought. It takes great pictures, it is easy to use but is still an advanced camera. The only thing I dislike is the fact that you have to use lithium batteries. The batteries that were sent with it were 4 alkaline and 2 rechargeable Ni-mH, and they die after about taking 10 pictures at the max.
Summary: Aaah, Kodak! My first digital camera was a Kodak several years ago (C300). It served me quite well for a long time and thousands of photos. But I began wanting something a bit more up-to-date and high-quality. I have owned several other brands since buying that first faithful camera, but almost all have quit working while the C300 still gets the job done (if the pictures are low resolution). So, when I began shopping for a new camera - I was favoring Kodak.
great camera!!!!! another wonderful easy share kodak

Summary: Another awesome easy share camera from Kodak. This one is not point and shoot but it is close. it has alot of setings you can choose to get the best picture. it also shows you what it is focusing on before you take the picture. I still haven't figured out all of the features but I got great pics of my daughter playing soccer and I even recorded her singing in church...it was just like being there.
Summary: this camera is i think kodaks top of the line.It rates a 9 with me for picture quality and most of all ease of use even with all of the great features it has.also works very well with kodaks easy share system.you dont even have to read the manual for most things.it is also very versitile in how you can share print or transport pictures or videos and also charge with many different printer charger docks.
Summary: The features for the price is excellent. (this is an upgrade from a 2 ½ yr old 5mp, 8X zoom, Konica-Minolta z20) Pictures: I have only used it outdoors so far. Primarily skiing. Surprisingly light weight for its size. Very good quality pics even in automatic mode. One feature I love that I have not seen mentioned much, is the sensor to determine the orientation of the camera and automatically saving correctly so that you don't waste time having to re-orient the pictures...
