Excerpt: Another camera I just got is the Kodak Z812IS. Well, it’s not an SLR but it’s powerful as well. I describe it as something in between my low-pixel camera and my SLR. It’s an 8MP digital camera so the pictures it takes are quite clearer. I also use its 12X zoom in far subjects such as my son swimming at the other side of the pool and my husband who was spray painting on our car. It really took the scene in quite nicely.
Summary: I was worried I wouldn't be able to use this camera, but it's much easier to use than I thought. It takes great photos and is simple to use. FYI - the software is no longer available for download from Kodak, but you'll still be able to download pictures to your computer if you get the right USB cable.
Summary: I have been a photographer and gallery owner for several years, and this model of Kodak is my favorite camera. I have a high end Canon with a phenomenal telephoto and I get great standard shots with it. However, the Kodak sings. My photos are vividly colored and artistic effects are possible "right out of the box.
Excerpt: I received the Kodak Z812 Digital camera as a gift for Christmas last year. I was not able to do any research on the camera before it was purchased because it was a gift The camera is a good camera but I am not sure if this is the digital camera that I would have picked. The zoom is a little slow. There have been several times that I have missed a shot because the zoom is slow. Even if you use the red eye setting, it is very easy to have red eyes in the pictures.
Excerpt: The Kodak Easy Share Z812-IS is a very nice camera for the price. It takes great pictures and I love he "IS" piece - image stabilizer. You can zoom in with it's 10x zoom capabilities and the picture still comes out focused on your subject. The camera I have came with a rechargable battery which has a decent life span. I can haul it to a couple different events before the battery wears out.
Good quality photos, but goes through batteries like crazy.

Excerpt: My husband I bout this camera about three years ago a little after our daughter was born. It's easy to use and takes good quality photos. The one drawback I have found is that it goes through batteries like crazy. After awhile the rechargable batteries will not work in it at all. Disposable batteries seem to work a little better, but it can easily go through twenty batteries for maybe an hour and a half to two hours of picture taking.
The camera is easy to use and screen is perfectly-sized!

Excerpt: The Kodak - EasyShare Z812IS Digital Camera is incredible. My first experience with digital cameras was also with a Kodak EasyShare camera and I really liked that one, but the view screen for the photographer was small and it was hard to tell if the picture taken was a good quality or not.
Excerpt: My family and I purchased the Kodak Easy Share camera about 2 years ago It has a lot of different options and ways to take picture built into it. You see the picture on a screen so you always get the perfect picture. Weve used it to take tons of family pictures for birthdays, holidays, special events, and just because. Its been dropped quite a few times so I would say that its pretty durable as well.
Excerpt: My Kodak is the best! It is so easy to take great pictures with and to download them onto my computer. This is my 3rd EasyShare Camera. I just keep upgrading. Everyone says I take too many pictures, then I go to their homes and guess whose pictures are hanging on the fridge...the ones I took! It has a nice large view finder, it's easy to see what you are taking a picture of and review the ones you have already taken.
