I just bought another of these cameras because of the quality and price.

Summary: This camera is light, relatively easy to carry, and delivers pictures rivaling much more expensive cameras. I've lugged mine around in a coat pocket for years and it just keeps going. Because I have it with me much of the time, I've gotten pictures I ordinarily would have missed. However, you simply have to buy rechargeable batteries made specifically for this camera, about $15 for a set of two plus charger.
Replacement parts are hard to come by; otherwise great value for the money.

Summary: I purchased this product for parts. Kodak no longer supplies parts for this camera, and I own one already that needed a new lens motor. I was disappointed to learn this. Right now, the one I just purchased is working fine. As long as this lens motor remains in working order, I should be able to keep at least one camera working well for awhile. This camera is easy-to-use yet takes some truly, stunning close-up pictures.
Summary: Purchased this to back-up a well loved and consistently used identical camera. For its compact size and reasonable price, this camera provides adaptations for a variety of lighting and framing options. I especially utilize its ability to zoom a great distance and still capture a clear shot. Panoramic scenes are also stitched together. Although it may not be considered a "professional" camera, it has been the most sophisticated and satisfactory option I have ever used.
One cool camera, tons of features and quality for the money!

Summary: This is a truly excellent camera. I bought it for my brother, and I gave it a thorough testing before I sent it to him. It's very easy to use, but has very high quality results. I'm a Kodak fan, and only wish they were still making cameras.
Wonderful Camera, Easy to use and Excellent All around features.

Summary: I absolutely love this camera. Great pictures, light weight, lots of applications. I've used high and low end and I have to say that for the money (very reasonable) this is an excellent choice for family or individual.
Summary: This is my second Kodak EasyshareZ712. I loved the first one so much, and still have it. This camera is user friendly and the pictures are crisp and clear. I don't think there is a better camera out there for amateurs like myself. I would highly recommend this camera to someone, and the huge plus is the batteries. It takes only 2 lithium AA and away you go for hours of great fun...no charging needed!
Summary: The camera itself is a very good model for the price. It has a very high quality lens and abilities far in advance of other comprably priced cameras. The mega pixel level isn't very high but the quality of the lens more than compensates for that. The only thing that is a drawback is that it takes double A batteries and can eat through them an a incredible rate. A rechargable set of batteries and charger are a must with this camera.
Simple to use good quality and performance for the price.

Summary: I have used a Z712 for about 4 1/2 years now. I have taken approximately 100,000 photos using a Z712. Used it for work, for selling coins on ebay and for doing extensive photographing of the skies to document geo-engineering, chemtrailing, aerosols, and scalar activities. I have taken some spectacular photos of these activities. For the price range of this camera I give it a 5. of course there are better cameras but at a higher price.
