Excerpt: I started out loving my camera. I take pictures of my family and friends all the time. I am the one who always has the camera and takes tons of pictures. I gather the pictures and organize them to share with family and friends. It is a passion of mine to make sure that my kids have all these pictures of all our memories when they get older.
Camera would be great if it did not discharge batteries rapidly

Excerpt: This camera was given to me as a gift from my husband. He purchased a different model that was reverbished and has had an excellent experience. This model within the first week of use, the batteries included, died. Even if the camera remains unused, batteries discharge in camera. When battery life is weak, I get pink streaks, lines through pictures.
Summary: The camera is a little too small for the average size male hands. Had there been a size reference in the ad I would not have purchased it. I often hit the small key by accident. The auto focus feature is poor and slow to focus. The price was OK but I will probable buy a different camera in the near future. I liked the HP camera the I replaced better.
Summary: I am not a digital camera aficionado, so you may want to read some more reviews, but I based my purchase on several positive reviews here. I wish I had done some more personal testing of other cameras before my purchase. Yes, it takes a good picture, but there are several things not to like about this camera.
1. It uses AA batteries (may be a plus to some people) but if you take a lot of pictures, the batteries will constantly be dying.
