Summary: My dearest little Kodak I am so sorry I tried to replace you with a new Nikon L110. You have been a faithful camera for three years. You took all my pictures without fail, and you took them well. My dalliance with the Nikon stemmed from it's newer 12.1 mega pixel size.
Summary: While I'm not a professional photographer, I have many years of experience photographically documenting scientific test results in the field. I have used Canon and Minolta 35-mm SLR's most of my professional career. I bought this Kodak Z712IS in spite of the poor reviews concerning battery life.

Summary: Ok....so this camera is GREAT!!....the one and only issue that i want to address is, the battery issue....Now if you are buying this kodak z712 camera right now, or u have already just bought it and having this problem, dont listen to other people about this camera sucking becuase of battery...
Summary: For what I paid, lots of great features for a great price. I ignored several negative reviews and bought this camera anyway. Boy, I'm glad I did. I don't believe any other product could provide this much camera for the money. Great pictures, great zoom, nice and compact, just great.
Summary: i like the camera but the 2 big issues are A. the batterie life on it is sooo bad after 2 pictures it is about to die and B. after a picture it takes a second or 2 to be ready to take the next picture
Summary: I bought this camera 10 months ago. Although it was fairly easy to use and took great shots it keeps breaking down. After contacting someone at Kodak they had me pay for shipping to send it to Precision Camera Repair who decides whether or not it is under warranty.
Summary: I've had this camera for over two years now, and I STILL love it. I was recently looking to replace it with a newer model(Z1012 or Z1485), but after playing with them in the store, I just can't let go of my Z712.
