Summary: I love the camera, but it comes with 1 battery that is not rechardgeable. It does not take regular rechargeable batteries that other digital cameras take. It only takes a special battery that is not cheap. I hated finding this out the hard way. I thought I was set for a trip and found out otherwise. I spent too much time and money trying to figure out whats wrong with my camera cause the lens would open and stay open. there was no low battery indicator.
Doesn't do what is says it will and web site not appl for this model.

Summary: Camera set on auto and still got red eyes indoors, and tried auto and specific setting to take a picture at dusk which is just a blur of lights. Went to website as directed and it doesn't cover this camera. So I have a pricey disposable with the ability to enlarge my bad photos to poster size. However I still hope to find there is actually a simple fix.
Summary: I purchased this camera for $99.99 during this past Cyber-Monday weekend. I have used this camera at a recent party. This camera has a lot of features. The video playback is excellent. The only flaw is the battery power. It comes with a lithium battery, and it didn't last long. Also, the camera does not use regular alkaline batteries. You need to get KLIC-8000 rechargeable batteries. Other than that, this camera is a lot more than what i paid for.
Summary: Kodak EasyShare Z1485 14MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5 inch LCD (Blue) Hello, Somebody know, what type a battery needed to this camera, i used sanyo eneloop rechargable battery, but when use more them 5 shots appear on the screen battery low, and the camera power down. Any help, realy and very fine with resolution and picture, but not cant be used. Note: I have another kodak camera (12 MP Digital) and not have problem.
Summary: I should have known better after reading the mixed reviews, but bought this camera and it died after 2 weeks. Unfortunately there aren't many kodak models left that work with the dock I already own, or the $20 battery I bought for this one. Kodak support sounded like a callcenter you know where, no opportunities for advance replacement of an obviously defective item. Thanks a lot kodak.
Summary: The Camera is a Z1485 IS (the IS means image stabilization) - I purchased the blue one and I like it. This camera fits just fine in my shirt pocket and it feels good in my hand too - the lens sticks out 3/8" with the camera turned off and the lens sticks out 1¼" with the camera turned on (all of the pictures that I had previously seen of this camera were shown with the camera turned on and with the lens extended out) - compared to my older Kodak C643 the overall...
Summary: I purchased this camera after doing a lot of research. I am a kodak user so i was aware about the quality of the product. Few things which i was looking for were Megapixals, Zooming capacity, Modes (Auto, Manual, and Program) and also the price. I found this camera on amazon and bought it immediately. This is a 14 mp camera with 5x optical zoom. It comes with Auto, Manual, and Program Modes. It is really compact and is very good companion in case of travel.
Summary: Kodak makes nice inexpensive digital cameras that work well. I have had several Kodak cameras in the past and have always been really happy. The only bad thing about this camera is that it is made in China. However, what is not these days?
Summary: This is a great little camera for the money. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought a 2nd one for a Christmas present for a family member. He also loves it. My wife likes it because it is so simple to use. Within 5 minutes she was taking pictures like a pro. The pictures are great with the exception of the panoramic shots. The camera is supposed to stitch them together but it doesn't do it well at all.
