    I selected this camera mainly because it has the biggest sensor size in this type of cameras for which implies low noise, better quality in the pictures due to the big CCD sensor.
    The color are very natural, the contrast and light are excellents.
    The noise appears in very low light external conditions but very good anyway too.

The Kodak EASYSHARE Z1485 IS features 14-megapixel resolutions combined with 5x optical zoom lens (35mm equivalent with range of 35 to 175 mm) for bringing you nearer to the object that you wanted to capture and provides stunning HD-quality pictures in 16:9 format, plus you are able to view pictures using the HDTV high-definition or even other HD devices. It is also equipped with a dazzling 2.5-inch high-resolution colour LCD with TFT technology and 230,000-pixels of resolution making it easier for user to view. The EASYSHARE Z1485 comes with Kodak’s innovative Smart Capture feature that provides an intelligent scene detection mode, intelligent capture control settings for exposure, focus, ISO images even in low lighting and compensate any camera shake error; intelligent image processing to reduce noise and clear dark shadows for real-life images, along with seven scene modes which includes portrait, landscape, bright scene, action, close-up, text documents and museum mode. The digital camera also support JPEG/EXIF v2.21 file format for still photo, and MPEG 4 (using quicktime) for video capturing. Its other innovative features are the ability to convert your picture to English, French, and German photo card templates that allows user to print images into a 4-inch-by-6-inch announcement into an innovative announcements, invitations, and holiday greetings. It also comes with an EasyShare Software that enables user to access more pictures at the Kodak Gallery before you can view existing record, edit and saving all pictures to the specific folder (My Collection). The Kodak digital camera is powered by 2 AA lithium batteries (CRV-3-7001) able to handle an optional KODAK Li-Ion Rechargeable.

  • is the battery that comes rechargable?

    I just bought a new Kodak Easyshare Z1485 IS Camera....i was really glad when i bought it.....but i was really disappointed when the battery comes with the camera died....i keep buying AA batteries and i got sick of it....so i decided to buy the charger....i tried to charged but it doesnt seem its charging, the light comes up is color green , it should be color red first while charging, and if its done it will turn to green....my question, is it charging or not ..? or maybe the battery that comes up with the camera is not rechargable...? I dont know anymore but im getting sick of it already....hope somebody can give or share ideas of my problems.!

    No these are not rechargeable batteries. Longest lasting I have found are Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA (don't use alkaline). regardless it eats a lot of

    my usb port will not fit inside the camera port. I know i have the right cord put it still will not fit

  • Thinking of buying Kodak Z1485 IS - any hints please?

    I understand about batteries (it uses lots) but I'd be very worried if photo's were to come out blurry and some people have noted???

    Don't. Mine died after 6 months, though I did get it cheap off Ebay. The picture quality is not nearly as good as my previous Olympus with less MP- I expect it has a lower quality lens. Also eats

  • Won't buy without eyepiece

    I have a 12 meg pix kodak thats eats batteries like a pig. My four mega pixel only used the viewer if it was a video. Why can't they have a eye lense instead of wasting batteries by using lcd screens "only" lately?
