this is the best camera they've made yet!

Excerpt: best quality in low light, bright light, and video capability. Not sure how they can improve on it, but I am sure they will come up with some greater ideas. Very dependable camera. Maybe they can come up with a long life battery that would replace using AA's.
Excerpt: kodak easyshare z1285 12.0 digital camera is the best gift i got so far. I'v had it for a couple years now, and im still learning different tricks with it, i love it so much. I use it everyday. It's mp are awesome, all its features are brilliant. i looooove it!! if this one breaks i'll probably get it again.
Excerpt: I took photography in high school and even created a still picture video the old fashioned way. Back then not having the resourses to continue my passion, I pretty much dropped it, Until I got my new Kodak Digital camera, I didn't know just how easy doing photo shoots could be. For half the price yet without cutting any quality, I can take pictures and the result I get is being consistantly asked, "How much did that cost you?
Excerpt: Kodak EasyShare Z1285 is good little camera. When my Fuji starting shutting off on me I purchased a refurbished Z1285 off ebay for $99. I am very happy with it and would recommend to others. I haven't used it alot but the pictures I've taken were HD and much better than the Fuji 9mp non HD.
Excerpt: This camera is just perfect for me. I was a beginner until I got this camera. Now, I feel that I can pursue my hobbie and may turn it into a career : ). It is user friendly and I really do feel that I am a photgapher. My family and friends now are always asking me to take their picture.

Summary: This is my third Easy Share, And I would'nt hesitate to by another one. It's so simple to use. You can set it to automatic and just point and shoot or set the picture mode for distance, day or night, close up, video and so on. It's a perfect size camera... most of the "new cameras" are so small and uncomfoftable. The photo quality is great also, you can crop and quick fix a photo even before you put it on your computer.
Summary: This is a really nice little camera. I owned a Kodak Z712 IS and wanted to step up to at least a 12 Megapixel camera. This affordable little camera has almost all of the features of the Z712 but with a smaller size. The only negative I can find is the lack of a viiewfinder. The larger Z712 has an optional viewfinder rather than an LCD screen. This feature has been removed from all Kodak EasyShare cameras after the Z1085 IS.
Summary: This is a great little camera for a Point and Shoot. It clearly shows you different types of picture taking settings. It is a 12 megapixel camera, but you are able to set it to lower settings if you wish. NICE FEATURE!! It has a fast recovery time from the moment you take the picture until you can take the next one. The ONLY thing I didn't like about this is that you have to set the date each time you put in new batteries.
Summary: I bought this camera as a replacement for the digital camera that I had previously bought a few years ago. I really don't regret purchasing my Kodak Z1285 at all. It's light and easy to carry. Also, very easy to operate. Everything advertised about this camera to me, are beyond what I needed in a digital camera. It's got great features like Image Stabilization, red eye reduction, and even a share button to email your pictures to friends and family.
