Good value but you get what you pay for.

Summary: Like: The price was good, it takes alright pictures and the video is great. Doesn't have a problem with blurring and came with a USB cord. Dislike: The focus is not the best and it requires specialized lithium ion batteries to operate. The batteries were not very expensive to buy from eBay but it would have been nice to know that they are required and AA's don't work before I purchased it.
Summary: I was looking for a camera for my daughter who just had a child. Figured this would be a nice camera for her to catch some shots of my new grandson. As far as the functionality of the camera, it's great. Records in HD and transfers easy. All in all a very good camera. The only thing I didn't like was the battery. With technology the way it is now there is no reason to include a non rechargeable battery. They're not very expensive.
Summary: After a lot of debate on what digital camera to purchase, we finally decided on this one to replace our old Kodak (DX7440) and have been very pleased. These Kodak cameras are very easy to use, with just the right amount of options for somebody that is not simply defined to the "auto" settings. My wife uses this camera to take product photography for her website, and it comes out extremely crisp, clear, and colorful.
Summary: The camera does great work, but I don't like the battery. It has to be in the docking station to charge. It would be better if it would fit in a regular charger. The immage locking is very accurate and automatic exposier is perfect. I'd recomend it for anyone looking for a very fast and easy camera.
Summary: The camera is as expected and appears to work great BUT I expected it to use rechargeable AA NiMh batteries-WRONG!! The lithium batteries are 3.7 volt and the size is a little different than regular AA batteries. Nice if the manufacturer would mention this other than "alkaline batteries are not compatible". Oh well just Kodak trying to sell their batteries, just have to make the best of it.
Summary: When purchasing my new camera I was looking for 2 basic needs, value and quality. With the Kodak EasyShare Z1085IS 10MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom I feel like I found both. Although I do consider myself somewhat of a technical person, I don't like products to be unnecessarily complicated. This camera was simple to use straight from the box. The onscreen menu is easy to read and maneuver through.
Summary: Over all the camera is nice, but batteries run out quick. We ended up buying a lithium type rechargeable battery. Also when we received the package in the mail the box looked like it had been punched in and the battery packet was cut open. I know that they only advertise two batteries in the description, but the presentation made it look like some one had broken in the package. The battery charger did not seem to be in working order either.
Summary: I was looking for a larger megapixel camera than what I had prior to this camera. (8mp) This Easyshare Z1085 Kodak camera is not as expensive as many with the same features and even has a few more features many other do not have. I give it a good plus or excellent minus for a rating. Bad points: This Kodak Z1085 camera, for me, only had one drawback.. the noise. It has a whirring sound as soon as you turn it on, not real loud but there just the same.
Summary: Great little camera, easy to use. Still need directions for some of the features. Only thing, when it gets too cold, it won't work. Safety feature? Maybe, but very inconvenient at the time. Would recommend this camera to one who is looking for something inexpensive, ready and easy to use.
